Dr. Hurst has been treating our cats for over 19 years. She does a terrific job of maintaining their health. We trust her judgment when it comes to treating our pets. She’s earned our loyalty and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a veterinarian to care for your pets. #Expert#Very Professional

The people at Cirby Ridge Animal hospital are always caring and helpful. We have been going there for over 15 years and they always go the extra mile to find out what is best for our pets.

I rescued my dog Rocky from the shelter when he was young. I had to find a vet quick. Got lucky with a local female vet.

The staff here is very nice and careful with your animal. I had my dog in a few times for little things like shots and checkup to an injury. They are always helpful and explanatory. The office is nothing fancy but I trust the female vet here any day.

Dr. Hurst is a fantastic advocate for your pets. She helpped us treat our furbaby for lymphoma...eventually she had to help us keep him comfortable...and in the end, after he passed, she sent us a very kind card and made a donation in his name to uc Davis to help fight his disease. I don't know if she does that for everyone or if she was partial to our giant baby boy (they always had a special bond)...but it meant the world to us at the time. Some vets become vets because they hate people...some because they love animals...she's the latter.

Dr. Hurst saved my dog's life. She knows what she is doing. The Vet Techs went above and beyond what is expected to make sure I knew how to care for my dog after an injury. The office staff is always caring and pleasant.

The staff at Cirby Ridge is knowledgeable and friendly. My dog gets a little anxiety about visits but they are very personable with her and help put her at ease. The vet takes a serious interest in the health of our extended family members (pets), and always ends up teaching me a thing or two at every visit. I trust this clinic with all of our pets' needs.

Although Dr. Hurst is an excellent vet, her bedside manner leaves something to be desired. I prefer to have one who is a bit more gentle.

I am very thankful for the doctors and the support staff at Cirby Ridge Animal Hospital. They were very supportive during a very rough period of time when our family lost our pet.

our labs and puppies have been customers of Cirby Ridge for over 5 years, and they are great to work with. Reasonably priced and in East Roseville; located next to Cool River Pizza.

RUDE RECEPTIONTIST

Could agree more. I am currently in the process of finding another Vet because of the current receptiontist. I've used Cindy for years off and on however when I contacted the office to dicuss payment terms, the girl who answered the phone was rude and basically relayed "No Money~No Service". I could have chalked it up to a bad day however when I called back the next week, I got the same rude girl who again stated basically "No Payment~No Service and NO installments". Really don't know if Cindy is aware of her employees treatment because I don't see getting around her. It makes me wonder how many patients like myself, have changed Vets.

2 ADULT CATS THAT NEED A TEMPORARY

My family and I have become homeless. I am in a transitional home called K.I.S.S. in Roseville and my daughter is staying at her friend's house. I desperately need help with temporary housing for my two adult cats. I have just become approved for unempl. ins. and can help with food and litter but am in a terrible financial and emotional hardship. I have contacted many organizations and am at a loss with what else to do as to not lose our beloved animals. They are being transported from Oregon on October 1, and I have to have a home for them while I'm at the transitional home and am trying desperately to get my life back on track in order to be reunited with my daughter and cats. I would be willing to volunteer at your organization and bring food and litter if they could please stay with you. My daughter, who is 14, grew up with Neko and she has lost so much in the last year. We've already lost one of our cats this past year, I don't know what it would do to her if we lost Neko. Would you please help me temporarily? I could pay some money for boarding. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you. Kindest regards,

Great vet, rude receptionist

We have taken our animals to Dr. Hurst for 4 years and absolutely love her -- extremely knowledgeable and really cares about the animals. Sadly, the new receptionist was so incredibly rude and dismissive when I stopped to purchase some flea meds without an appt ("No appointment?! You'll have to sit down and wait while I attend to the scheduled clients ... I'll call you to the desk when I'm available") that I left after 20 minutes of waiting in vain and being pointedly ignored as she administered my discipline. This took place months ago and I have not been back. Who knew? The previous front desk help was always courteous and never objected to clients popping in to make a quick purchase. I don't really wish to see another vet and have resorted to the mobile clinics for vaccines and heartworm/flea medications until deciding how to handle this...
