Included among these products are secure intercommunications systems for use in airborne, ground and shipboard applications. Located in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., Palomar has provided TEMPEST qualified systems to customers throughout the world for over 30 years. The company began as a product line of Hughes Aircraft Company and became Palomar Products in 1995. In 2005, it was acquired by Esterline, a specialized manufacturing company that serves the aerospace and defense markets.
