Out West Handyman

His company is no longer Out West Handyman, he has changed it to RPS Handyman. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DIRT BAG!!!!!
I believe he does have the "Ability" to do a decent job, but you wouldn't know it from what he has done to my house!!!

He is upfront about not being licensed. He showed me some pictures of his work, so I hired him. He wanted 1/2 upfront. On his first day working at my house, he showed me his phone, showing me he was over $200.00 in the hole in his bank account, so I gave him an additional advance. Then, I didn't see him for 2 weeks!! When he did show up, there were a total of 4 workers (including himself) 4 people to work in one tiny bathroom? His "Professional Staff" are 2 illegal day workers he picked up from the Home Depot parking lot in Provo!!! (He told me this!!!) They don't speak English and do not understand his direction. I HAD TO SHOW THEM HOW TO PUT THE INSULATION IN!!! And, these workers are NOT contractors or handymen!!! He is "Training them"!!! I told Robert, "I hired YOU to remodel my bathroom, not them" to which he retorted, "YOU DIDN'T HIRE ME,YOU HIRED MY COMPANY!!" (such a creepy guy)
The job was $2,750.00, I have paid him a total of $1,950.00 and have never heard from him since that day!!!
He was supposed to run a pipe to the new sewer location, run an exhaust vent, relocate bathroom sink pipes to new location (2 feet away) Remove old floor tile, shower tile and wall tile and put in new tile and install a pocket door.

He showed my grandson how to remove the tile and told him he would pay him. My grandson removed all the tile.........AND WE HAVE NOT SEEN OR HEARD FROM ROBERT AGAIN!!! See pics below. Notice the height of the pocket door is way too high! It should be the same height as the other doors!

I had to hire an ACTUAL PROFESSIONAL, LICENSED PLUMBER to do the plumbing aspect of the job. I hired Clint with Adept Plumbing.....HE IS AWESOME!!! Wish Clint did drywall, pocket doors, framing and tiling!!!

Great Service, loved the detail on all the work he did. My house was old and really needed a new roof and paint. He did an amazing job.

Robert, was very helpful. He arrived in time for all the projects he helped out with. It started as a small carpet repair that turned into a large remodeling service. He did a great job, very appeciated.
