Stamp-Connection opened their doors on January 2, 2001 on 3rd street between Main and Roberts, a location now occupied by Le Charme Salon. Stamp-Connection started with two employees, a promise to make rubber stamp shopping easy for their customers, and the prestige to be a part of Historic Downtown Gresham. With the help of the MHCC Small Business Development Center and a small business loan, Stamp-Connection sold $74, 000 in custom rubber stamps and self-inking stamps their first year. Over nine years later, the company is one of the largest rubber stamp manufacturer's in the Pacific Northwest with annual sales close to $2 million, shipping orders to all 50 states and most Western countries, with over 20, 000 happy customers. Relocating to a larger location on Roberts, Stamp-Connection has grown to employ fifteen full time employees, has upgraded their machinery which includes custom laser engravers to help expand their product line, and offers a high caliber of customer service rarely seen in office supply manufacturing.
