Campbell is the only auto supply store in town that treat women well. They are nice and happy to answer questions.

Overall
Great Parts store

I have all 8 ASE certifications and deal with many different distributors of parts every day. I also understand the parts counter side of things, because I used to work at autozone. Not only is campbells staffed by more than competant people, but they have about 5 or more guys working there at one time. If you want spinning hub caps and other worthless riceburner junk, go to autozone, pepboys, or advanced. If you want knowledgable staff and actual quality parts (most importantly , the correct part the first time!) go to campbells. Somethings at campbells are even cheaper in price than other "discount" megastores. However, somethings are marked up pretty high. If you want oil, shop rags, and things like that, go to autozone or pepboys. Campbells is high in price for those items.

One of the biggest reasons Autozone, pep boys, adavanced aren't good is a result of turnover. When I worked at autozone, they had people coming and going all the time. There was no training as far as automotive knowledge is concerned, and the result is people who know less about cars and their parts than you do, and getting wrong parts. Additionally, as a parts counter salesman, you are pressured to sell "Wittdgr" items to the customers. Wittdgr stands for "what it takes to do the job right." This means they will try to push $1.19 packets of various things on you, things that should be included for free when you buy a set of pads. They have a quota to meet, and I have personally witnessed salesman sneaking in one, two sometimes 3 packets of this stuff (you should only need up to one packet per job) under the customers nose and then charging them for it to bring up their "wittdgr" numbers. This is underhanded behavior, and this happens everyday. Yes, every brake job needs to bo done with the proper supplies, but they take things to a whole new level. Anyways, campbells is a no B.S. store, where you will get what you need and nothing more. Plus, they are locally owned. So help your neighbors stay afloat, and support them buy going to campbells.
