Let me start off my saying that I am VERY meticulous about my car. I pretty much inspect my car every time I walk up to it. I LOVE my candy white 2014 GLI. I brought it into Crestmont for it's mandatory 10,000 mile check up/oil change. I dropped it off in the morning, WITHOUT a scratch on my bumper, and picked it up later that night WITH a significant scratch/chip in the paint. It was the first thing I saw when I walked up to the car. The service manager had already left for the evening, so I left my complaint with the receptionist working that night. I received a call the next morning from one of the service guys saying I needed to bring in my car so that their manager could see the scratch for himself. I took my car in the following week for them to inspect/fix the scratch. I waited 2 hours, only to have my car returned to me looking like some joe-shmo took White Out to the scratch. I'm not kidding, the paint was a COMPLETELY different white than the white of my car. The service manager assured me that it was a "good job" and you "could barely notice it". I could have done a better job retouching it myself. When I lodged further complaints about this retouch on site, he said that they would not be claiming responsibility for the initial scratch done to my car and that this was the best they could do. He further had the audacity to claim that it was "impossible" that this scratch could have happened at their dealership. Meanwhile, while I was waiting for my car to be "retouched", a huge crash of something dropping came from the garage of the service area...could've been something dropping on someone's beloved car and creating a scratch.



WARNING to all Volkswagen owners in the Pompton Plains/Wayne/Pequonnock area:

DO NOT take your car to Crestmont VW if you want your car to be properly serviced or your car to remain looking like it did when it came off the lot!!!

My car broke down on the way to Boston. Your team provided immediate and exceptional service. You got me on my way in 3 hrs. That just does not happen anymore in this world. I am eternally grateful and would travel out of my way to buy a car from such a customer oriented organization

It was great! Jason took very good care of me and treated me with respect. He knew that my car was going too take a long time to service and he put me on a rental right of way. That is what I call, customer service.

Very helpful with questions and service. Do feel that sometimes service appointments can take a long time when you are waiting at dealer to be done but do understand that it does depend on when you come and how many other cars are in also.

Dropped off my Jetta Sportwagen for 10,000 mile service. It was ready in 2 hours. I was pleasantly surprised to find the car had been vacuumed and washed, as I had no reason to expect this.
