Boulder Mountain Rock Wall Company

I had a horrible experience with boulder mountain. I would definitely NOT recommend them to anyone.



Over the years I've had a total of three different rock wall contractors install rock walls in my property. Of the three, boulder mountain is the only company I have been totally dissatisfied with. In fact I had to pay someone else to come and finish the job! The customer is never right with boulder mountain. There was an issue with having a rock wall next to a fence. During the placement of the wall, there was dirt and rocks up against the fence. My wife and I had expressed concern about this four times. After inquiring during the sign-off, boulder mountain started arguing with me and telling me it had already been done even though I pointed out where I could clearly see it hadn't.



I was disappointed in the lack of professionalism with boulder mountain. It felt like a couple of guys rented an excavator and told me they could put rocks in my yard. Of the two days they spent working on my wall, I ended up spending most of the day out there babysitting them and instructing them how to do their jobs. I was also disappointed that the final result was rather unfinished. It really is disappointing when you have to have someone else come in and finish what boulder mountain started. I would rate boulder mountains work rough and mediocre at best.



I also had issues with broken property. boulder mountain reminded me that I had signed a work order that released them from any and all destruction of property. It was apparent they had no concern or respect to my property.



Additionally boulder mountain was terrible to work with. Their lack of communication skills were obvious. They would constantly argue and belittle myself and my wife. My wife had made a change while talking to them over the phone, yet they had forgotten and claimed it wasn't on the work order.



I know it may sounds cliche, but if I would have known then what I know now, I would have paid some other contractor to do my rock wall!

Everything was done right, the bid was accurate, and everything was done on time. What more can you ask for?

I am so pleased with my project! Don happily came out and gave me a bid in the evening because I am gone in the daytime. He took the time to hear what I wanted and then made suggestions to make it look even better than I imagined! He did an excellent job on my walls as well as my water feature. He is truly an artist! I would recommend everyone use him!!!
