I could never get my prescriptions filled in a timely manner. They could never have all medication ready at one time. It would take multiple trips to the pharmacy and they would have to wait for doctors authorization. Very disappointed in Internal medicine in resolving this issue. Very frustrating.

Never ever will I go to this hospital's ER. I was admitted & waited in ER for 3 days waiting for a bed! I made it clear I was lactose intolerant but they kept giving me a regular tray of food with "milk." I finally got on my phone and order food to be delivered... I lost 7 lbs. in the 5 days I was there! To add insult to injury I was discharged with them getting me a home health nurse. When one never called or came on day 5 after getting nowhere via phone I felt OK to go back & inquire. I was given a number to call and I did, only to get the excuse it was near Xmas and they were busy. Give me a break, Xmas or not they said I needed a home health nurse nearly a week earlier since they were concerned about me falling & taking care of myself. I drove myself but I'd die in the street before I ever let a ambulance take me here! BTW Once on the floor my care was very good & I got a correct tray of food.

The hospital staff were rude and seemed unable to provide any time for a patient in need, nurses were unable to diagnose and no doctor was available. Had to drive patient home as they could barely stand, hospital wasn't able to provide a diagnosis or even basic care but charged $250 to waste the patients time.

Emergency room

Yesterday my ex-husband spent 12 hours in the emergency room. As we waited for information from other hospitals the staff was the best. The nurse Chris kept us informed and how lucky we were to have hime. He does an excellent job. During Larry's stay in the ER before being admitted was long but he was the most comfortable in 2 weeks as they determined the problem. So the next time you want to be impatient with the staff remember it is you they are there to help.
