NAPA Auto Parts Spragues Supply Inc

Do Not use this store or any of the other NAPA Auto parts stores run by Spragues Supply Inc (1504 Alexander Street Columbus, GA 31904 and 1213 Opelika Road Auburn, AL 36830). I reserved a part for my vehicle online. At the end of my reservation the website told me that the part would ship to the store I specified (1145 280 Bypass Phenix City, AL 36867) and that I would pay for it when I picked up the part.



The next day I went into the store in person to verify that the part was indeed ordered and on its way. I spoke to an employee who showed me on his computer the order information which had my name address and part that I ordered. He told me that the part was shipped out of Atlanta and it should be in today.



Well, today I called the store to see if my part was in and they told me that because their store is independently owned you cannot reserve parts online (even though the website allows it). You have to order online and have it shipped to your home. I asked him to check on my order and all that he could say was that there was a part similar to mine due to ship out of Philidelphia however he was unsure if it was mine or not because there was no name or address on the order.



How can one employee confirm that my specific part shipped out of Atlanta and it would be in the next day and then another employee (manager) not be sure who a certain part belongs to because there is no name on the order. Yet my part DID NOT ship out of Atlanta and a similar part was due to ship out of Philidelphia. I don't need a similar part I need the part I ordered. Do they even know who ordered the part out of Philidelphia?



I called a competing local auto parts store (O'Reilys) and they were able to put the part on order and guarantee I would have the part I ordered tomorrow morning when the store opened 13 1/2 hours later. Not only that but the guy was willing to place the order without me paying so that I was able to make the shipping cutoff and I will just pay for it tomorrow when I pick up the part.



I will no longer use any Spragues Supply Inc owned NAPA auto parts stores in the Phenix City AL or Columbus GA area (1145 280 Bypass Phenix City, AL 36867,1504 Alexander Street Columbus, GA 31904 and 1213 Opelika Road Auburn, AL 36830). I suggest if you want an accurate and timely order when you order parts you do not use them either. Instead go to O'Reilys at 3903 Us Highway 80 West - Phenix City, AL. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and every order I have had through them has been accurate and extremely fast.
