My 13 year old Collie was having neurological issues that (sadly) required putting him down. They saw me on a Sunday morning and took great care of my sweet boy, allowing the wife and I to stay with him, explaining the process, giving us time with him afterwards and helping us to bring him home to bury. It is expensive the care of pets is well worth the expense. We have gone to Eastern Shore Animal for years and have had nothing but good results, a very caring staff who know your pets by name. Everything you need for your pets is there, meds,shampoos, flea tick, heartworm products. The spa is exceptional and my dog loves to go there. The vets are ne er too busy to take time and explain things to you. Farm calls, housecalls, after hours emergency calls, etc. Everything is state of the art for your dog. They even have boarding for cats and dogs. Dr. Paula Cameron does exotic animals and wild life rescue. They are very community oriented and do the vetting for the annual Chincoteague pony swim. They also tend the police dogs care. Epensive yes, well worth it, yes!

It is the most expensive place that I have found to go to over here. The vet diagnosed my son's dog as being badly bruised after a car injury. Ultimately, our old vet diagnosed him as having a broken pelvis, broken bone in leg, nerve damage that required months of physical therapy, and torn ligaments. We have been going to our old vet for 30+ years and KNOW that HE didn't say this just to money gouge.
