Silver City Tire

I needed service done on my car before a long road trip. The guys at silver city went thru everything on my car and gave me a list of things that they suggested I fix before I go. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything and they were more than considerate of my budget at needs. I can't imagine a better auto service experience. The owner and his employees were equally knowledgeable and happy to answer all of my silly questions. Keep up the great work!

At a certain speed, my car started to shake. Called them and within 30 minutes the found the problem, fixed it and I was back on the road. Their prices were amazing and customer service was better then I've experienced at a car shop in a very long time. I didn't feel like they were trying to take advantage or over sell. I strongly recommend silver city and will be back.

If all you want is a quick purchase of tires, then fine. But that's about it. I used to go there regularly, but once I went for a 4-wheel alignment but I only got a report for the front wheels. When I questioned this, the guy at the counter, Harley, became ajitated and told me my car was too old and rusted to adjust. But that doesn't explain why I didn't get the report for the back wheels. Later I tried to call and talk sense to the owner, but I could hear Harley in the background ranting about how "he came in here with four mis-matched tires, etc". First of all, the tires were all matched and purchased at the same time - FROM THEM. Secondly, this still wouldn't explain why they didn't give me a report for all four wheels on the alignment. The owner politely told me to take my business elsewhere. Very good advice! I haven't been back since.

today i called Silver City and got a price on a set of tires...their price was the lowest yet. i was skeptical because the total was 52 dollars less than all 4 other places, but they said "come right in you never need an appointment for tires" - i went in and i was out in 40 min with 4 new tires at the price they said and a free air gauge thing. -- so cool. great service. great price. nice people.
