Dogtopia

I must have been a lucky one because after the treatment I received here I quickly got my extreamly friendly dog and my self out of there.. They seemed not to care about the dogs at all and only wanted to get your money and put them in a kennel. (One dog was covered in blood and the staff could not care less) Please don't think this is a complaint, they may be nice, but my initial experience was enough to never go back.

This was a horrible experience for my dog. She spent the weekend there for 3 days and 2 nights. She smelled of urine, which they tried to cover up with doggie cologne, when I picked her up and her nose was raw and bleeding. When I picked her up I asked what had happened no one could tell me anything. Come to find out she pottied in her kennel, which she has NEVER done in her 8 years of life and sat in it all night. Then I was told she had a bath after that and she obviously did not because of how she smelled with matted hair on her backside. I now have to take her to the vet because she has had a dry nose with scabs and has been very sick since I picked her up. She will not eat or drink anything. Now I have a vet bill to pay. I paid this daycare $130 for the weekend - I thought it would be a good investment by looking at the facility but I guess the staff is the pitfall. I called to ask what happened the next day and the owner spoke with me and was completely not willing to work with m

The managers at Dogtopia were very unreasonable! I thought I would give this place a try after all of my friends suggested Camp Bow Wow, this place looked very comparable. However, Dogtopia does charge a $15.00 evaluation fee that was not diclosed at the time of appointment and was only presented after the evaluation was finished. These charges are non-refunded and the staff is not compromising. I was caught off guard and feel like everyone should consider the dishonesty of this company before leaving the pets that they love there. I would not suggest this place to any of my friends and would fear for the well being of my pet in the hands of this company.
