I did my research before choosing a roofing contractor. (6-7 estimates) I got a new roof plus gutters and downspouts. Let me save you some time....go with Fichtner!! I'll explain why.

They use quality GAF materials and are a MASTER ELITE installer. Their prices are very competitive. Their workers are experienced and good at what they do! They are honest. Zero sales pressure. I only had the loss of my driveway for a day (townhouse) because they bring a truck w/a dumpster on the back and get rid of the debris very quickly! They did the work within the estimated timeframe, and customer service is very important to them.

Of note, they were the ONLY company that suggested I NOT get gutter guards on the front of my house. (less money for them!) It had to do with the roof design; heavy rain would be too much for gutter guards on my house and the water would completely overflow the gutters. Once that was explained to me it made perfect sense, yet NO other company brought that up. My estimator, Steve, was very honest, knew his stuff, and he's a former Marine so he's a good guy all-around. To their great credit, they custom-cut the drip-edge for me so that it would look good with the crown molding on my house. Also, the gutters they install are seamless - so there's less chance of gutter leaks. In addition, everyone I dealt with at the company was friendly and professional. Lastly, they even put new shingles on a small area off of my deck which was unexpected.

Overall this experience could not have been better! They answered every question I had (and I had a lot), scheduling was a breeze, the work was done exactly as they said it would be done, cleanup was very good (please note, magnetic rakes are not perfect, no matter who uses them...), and the results were fantastic!! I'm extremely happy with the work and am very glad I chose Fichtner Services.

After having my roof and gutters replaced by Fichtner, I quickly realized I made the right choice. The work was extremely efficient and looks fantastic. Jan was my on-sight supervisor and he was great. Made me feel like he was personally interested in me being happy with the work being done. My sales associate, Mike Bafford was also fantastic. Fichtner Services put a new roof on our house. From the outset we were very happy with their service. Everyone, including Chris who gave us the estimate, Jan and Ray the job supervisors and the entire crew, was very professional and always on time. THAT is very rare these days. The job was completed in the time they said it would be and they did any excellent job cleaning up every day. We highly recommend Fichtner Services and have already referred a neighbor to them!

The work involved recoating a 100-year-old metal roof. Extremely professionally done, product quality was exceptional. There were two small glitches during the course of the project, which the staff addressed courteously and expeditiously. This is the second time we've used them and both times have been great. This time around, they replaced a section of gutters on the back of the house. They didn't try to sell me things I did not need ( as another company insisted upon), their prices were more than fair, and everyone with whom I spoke was friendly yet professional. The work was done quickly, and best of all, I didn't even need to take off time at work! We will definitely use them again!

Fichtner installed the roof on our house over 10 years ago and we have used them several times since for maintenance and weather-related roof repair. The work crews are always professional, dedicated and conscientious. Many have worked for the company for a number of years. Meghan and Stacie are always helpful and accomodating. Would definitely recommend Fichtner for roofing issues.

I had my house pressure cleaned twice by this company. They were recommended by the company that resided my house. Special care was required to clean the Hardy Board siding. They did an excellent job each time and did an exceptionally thorough job cleaning and removing flaking paint from a pergola that was to be repainted. I will continue to use their house cleaning service every other year as long as I own this house. The roof will likely need replacement within the next two years and I expect to return to Fichtner based on my experiences with the quality of their work. Richard Davis

Coworker recommended Fichtner a while back when I had minor leak in townhouse roof. I got several quotes for repair or replacement, but didn't do the job until another leak a year later. Fichtner had stuck out as best choice.



I dealt with same Fichtner salesman and other workers both times. Fichtner was good because through whole process, they were happy to answer questions I had about roof/attic/insulation/venting/etc. The answers seemed honest--no trying to sell us something we didn't need. They were prompt for appointments, and answered calls/emails quickly.



On day of actual job, crew was there on time. Job site supervisor and crew supervisor were polite and answered more questions. I didn't talk to crew--they were already up on roof removing old shingles. Job was done in one day, including roof/insulation/gutters. Cleanup was excellent. A neighbor even commented on cleanliness.



They were honest, reliable, easy to work with, and polite. I would hire them again without hesitation.

We needed a new roof and were looking at different companies when Fichtner Services put a roof on our neighbors house. After talking to my neighbor who was overly satisfied with Fichtner we called for an estimate. They were very quick to respond and came out immediately for an estimate. The estimator was friendly and informative. The quote was about 500 less then another company and then they offered a 10% discount is we booked within 7 days of receiving the quote. The work crew was great. They got to work very quickly and were very polite. The team supervisor was friendly and informative, told us what was going to happen and how long it would take. We had some issues with the old roof once the shingles were removed in 3 spots. The team supervisor provided clear explanation on the problem and how it would be corrected. They did a great job with cleanup and a follow up call to make sure we were satisfied. Would certainly recommend them and use them again. Bill D

We hired Fichtner Services after receiving multiple quotes from other companies in the area, and we are glad we did. Fichter Services was very timely in arriving to give us a quote and also after hiring them, they showed bright and early as they said they would. The whole team was very professional, courteous and very knowledgeable about their work. I know because I did my homework perusing the GAF website. I found Fichtner to be the most reliable (per BBB Ratings), well respected (Per GAF Certification), and the best value of the companies I considered. With approximately 3000 sq ft of roofing, they showed up on time and completed the job in one day. They also cleaned up everything and left the area like it was when they arrived. They answered all of my questions throughout the day as well. If you need a new roof, please call Fichter. You will be glad you did.

I would highly recommend them. I hired them to replace a roof and they took the time to do it right. They found a problem I didn't even know about where the bathroom fan was venting into the attic. They fixed it and replaced all the affected wood instead of just shingling over the problem. I appreciate their thoroughness.

Great company. Was going to get three estimates for gutter work, but went with their estimate exclusively as they came across as service oriented, straight forward operation. Very impressed that they did not send final invoice until we were satisfied with their work. Will use them again in the future!

Fantastic company. They were on time. Roof was completed in one day. Guttering was completed in a second half day. The crew was meticulous in cleaning up and protecting flower beds around the house. Roof looks terrific and they made some needed repairs that only became apparent after the shingles were removed. If there were six stars, I would have given six!!

Awesome company. Every person I spoke with was friendly and knowledgeable. The crew was amazing, with how fast that they completed the job all in one day. Price was on par with other companies but they provided higher quality materials. Would not hesitate to suggest them to anyone.
