As all of us Oaklanders know, the potholes in the street are getting worse and worse by the minute...I just returned from Mexico and the streets there are in better condition! Having just suffered a flat tire, I brought my car in to Benson to have my very flat tire fixed...Aha, this will be the real test...But alas, they truly are the best. My tire was removed from my trunk, I was asked if I wanted to wait or come back...I chose the latter...when I returned (within 2 hours), the tire was fixed, put back on my car in no time flat (excuse the pun), and I was given a beautiful copper "moscow mule" mug (since they didn't have them when I purchased the tires six months ago). The service was complimentary and a tip refused. So there you have it...a true testament on GREAT SERVICE! Thanks Benson, you have a customer for life!

A huge, warm thank you to Gary and the mechanics from Benson Tire & Auto Service, who are all solely responsible for the success of my first emergency roadside service for this new year. I had a flat tire that needed to be either replaced or repaired--unfortunately, it had to be replaced. Gary is so extraordinarily helpful, quick, kind and friendly. Throughout the entire service, he and the others at the shop provided an overall excellent experience for my fiancé and myself. Our new favorite neighborhood tire shop, just down the block!

I was in a serious pickle when I got in my car to drive cross country to go home to Chicago, and my left blinker was dead. Dead, dead. Usually I would do the research and try and replace it myself, but as I had my car all packed up and was supposed to be driving to death valley at that very moment, I was up a creek. The great folks at Benson's got me in right away when they heard my situation, and managed to pull some strings to get the part in under an hour. Overall I spent about two hours, and quite a bit of money (which is why I try and do it myself) but if they hadn't gone out of their way, I would have been out hundreds of dollars more on my hotels and driving very late at night.

Alright I did not get serious repairs here so I cannot speak to that but I can say that Gary is the nicest guy ever. The day before a road trip my tire pressure light came on and I have no idea how to put air in my tires. Rolled up to this place and Gary fixed my tire pressure and refilled my windshield wiper fluid FOR FREE. Gary is the best.

Those guys are fast and reliable .
I call them for alignment, in 10 minutes they sign me in and start working on it. The price was reasonable and they were nice and honest .

Mr. Benson and his staff are the best! I as well as my family only buy our tires here and have for the past 7 years. They rotate tires for free and will repair a flat for free (if you purchased the tires from them). They also will give you a ride nearby and pick you up while the work is being performed.

Cant go wrong with their tire services.

Stephen was great. Changed all four tires quickly on a busy Saturday. One tire wore out early and he replaced it for free even though the alignment was fine. Appreciate the good, local service

Just had a great experience getting a flat tire repaired. I brought the tire in and dropped it off. They were super friendly and called me when it was ready. I didn't expect or even ask them to put it back on, but they offered and that was awesome. Definitely appreciated how friendly they all were. Will definitely be back. Thanks!
