One of the best places to eat in Oak Park. Don't expect your typical Tex-Mex fare. Chef Paco is from Mexico and his cuisine is authentic regional Mexican, such as complex homemade mole. I usually focus on the specials, which are often based on what's in season. Chef Paco is an excitable, kindly fellow who visits each table personally to explain the night's specials and how the balance sweet, spicy and tart flavors. You can't help but get caught up in his enthusiasm. Cocktails are delicious -- expect various flavored margaritas, mojitos and sangria. Yum! A perennial favorite.
