Merry Maids

We had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience (Sept 2015)!!! Hired them to clean our house when we sold it. The house was empty. Service was set up the day before we turned the keys over to the new owners. The owner of Merry Maids came through the house ahead of time and wrote out an estimate that it would take 2 people 4 hours so the cost would be $368, We agreed to this amount. On the date of service, received a call that it would take 2 additional hours to complete what had been agreed upon. So we agreed to pay $184 more to complete the job. I went to house that evening after work, expecting to find it CLEAN. I needed to redo all of the floors. They appeared to have been vacuumed but not washed as there was still dried food in several spots on the floor. An attached table in the kitchen was wiped down on only half the surface. I could still feel grit on half of it. The only thing that had been cleaned well were the 2 refrigerators. I had to finish the cleaning that night since we were turning the keys over to the new owners the next day. I called Merry Maids owner the next day and was told they would have come back out. Told her it should have been done right the first time and there wasn't time for them to "come back out". She asked what I wanted and I said I thought I should get a partial refund. She said they "don't do refunds". Her offer? $25.00 off the next time I booked them. Insulting to say the least....

I have enjoyed having Merry Maids clean my home. I like the fact that I get the same trusted team in my home every time. They maids are very helpful and are a joy to be around they take care of all my cleaning needs. The detail in their work is extraordinary. I have and will continue to recommend Merry Maids to all of my friends.
