Premarital Agreement
Since 1981, Betty Wood has concentrated her practice in the areas of estate planning (wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, premarital agreements), business planning (initial organization, shareholder agreements, family limited liability companies, etc.), elder law (legal aspects of aging including Medicaid long term care benefits, guardianships, etc.) and probate.
Guardianship
Chip is currently an active member of several legal organizations, including the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma County Bar Association and serves on several committees of those organizations. He was a long-time member of the Probate Code Committee of OBA which proposes legislation to improve and simplify the probate and guardianship laws of Oklahoma. Of particular enjoyment is service on the OBA's and OCBA's Law Related Education Committees where he teaches school children on the importance of rules, making decisions and legal issues. Chip was chairman of the OCBA LRE Committee from 1999 to 2003. In 2003, the committee received the Outstanding Committee Award from the OCBA. He was later Chairman of the OBA LRE Committee.
