We originally bought our retractable from another local company. After one year of use the (covered) cable rusted out in the salt air and then broke. The installing company wanted to charge us half the price of the awning to replace it, and it was like they were doing us a favor to come out. A friend told us about their experience with Bigley and Hogshire so we gave them a call. Great move. They came right out, had to replace both arms (the other one wasn't long for this world either), and it was just a little more than the company that made our awning originally. It has been 3 years since they change the awning to Sunair, and no sign of problem. We recently scheduled a cleaning for the 4 year old fabric, and it shines like new. I would definitely recommend Awning by Bigley and Hogshire!

These guys were great. Had a retractable awing installed. They were quick, neat and a quality product. You maybe able to find the cheaper retractable awing "on TV" but you get what you pay for. I've had mine for 3 years now and we love it. We use our deck more now than ever. We spoke to a representitive at the local home/garden show and had a question about power washing our home and the effects it might have on the awing fabric. They called me back with and answer and said the solution would have no effect on the awning material. Even after 3 years they still give great customer service. I would highly recommend them.
