Where do I begin?... Well, I will never recommend this "Bate's Motel" to any of my friends or relatives EVER!!!... The place is deplorable, run down, and down right discussting!!! Considering the money they charged for an overnight stay (all because it was West Points' graduation weekend), it was not worth it at all!!! My family members had to endure broken-down-dirty additional cots for $30 extra per cot, tiles were coming down over the tub of one room, and when they came to remove it, family was told the can take a shower with an exposed hole over their heads... At least 2 relatives were stuck in the bathrooms unable to open the door without using brutable force... Broken TV sets that were so old I don't think they sell them anymore... I could go on and on, but at this point, the only statisfaction is that I will be letting anyone I know, to never stay at that place ever... Its a shame that they use the name Hudson Valley Motel, considering how beautiful our Hudson Valley area is... The local Chamber of Commerce should have them remove it... I will also be contacting the Quality Inn Corporate offices and informing them of this horable experience since thats the name that the staff wears on their uniforms... I wonder if the Quality Inn Company is aware that this place is affliating themselves to their corporation... Sooo in closing, I would very much like to appoligize to my family who traveled to attend our reunion and had to endure such horrible conditions... Inspite of that, we still had a great time together... Hudson Valley Motel and Conference Center, in Newburgh, NY, NEVER STAY THERE, this place should be condemned!!! There are far better lodgings in the area, hell, even the Howard Johnsons across the street would beat it!!! :( ...
