Terry's Home Repair

Terry and his crew were fantastic. They did custom interior painting and it came out beautiful. Great communication and will be calling them again soon.

Although Terry's contract said 1/2 down at the beginning, and the balance after the completion of the work, after a week, he wanted more money, and a couple of days later, he wanted more. When I checked his addition of the contract, he was several hundred dollars over what it should have been. He included $300 for bathroom repairs, but that was not included in what he did. I did give him about $200 extra for moving furniture, etc. Big mistake...when I gave him the final check, he still needed to repair a bathroom wall and move heavy furniture in the den. I had gone to Lowes and purchased slides to use on the desk, but Terry never went back to move the den furniture and never refinished the bathroom wall. In fact, he left furniture on the screened-in porch that my husband and I had to move even though I paid him extra for that! The job was supposed to be completed in two weeks, and Terry even said at the beginning that he never took another job before he finished the one he was working on. However, he usually was not there more than 3-4 hours a day, and often he did not go at all. I gave him a key to the house....BIG MISTAKE...and he has not returned it yet! It has been over 3 weeks since he did anything, and I cannot get him to return my calls. I do not recommend him at all.

These guys get whatever you need done quickly, affordably (!), and with class. I needed a window repaired through which my dog had jumped. I called around town and not only was Terry the only contractor who responded, he did so the same day. We talked about the problem on the phone, he gave me a clear estimate, I knew what to expect. I will hire them for any home repair work, and you should too.

I was looking for a contractor to repair and paint my door. My experience with finding contractors for small jobs who are reliable, responsive and affordable has been almost non-existent until I met Terry! He was extremely professional, communicated his availability, made sure I was aware of the materials I needed to purchase and stayed in contact with me until the job was done. Best of all, my back door looks brand new! Being that I am somewhat of a perfectionist myself, I appreciate the quality of Terry's hardwork. I will certainly give him a call for any small and large jobs I have in the future!
