Overall

Gave me a quote for $1400. On ...

Gave me a quote of $1400 for a tree removal. On the scheduled day they called me at work and said we can't do it for that price. Hoppe then tried to get $2400 for the service they quoted. Their word means nothing, look elsewhere.

Tree Removal and Planting

Tree Removal
Harvesting/Tree Removal - Expert tree removal services. When trees have to come down we have the equipment and experience to harvest the logs properly for urban wood use. We'll transport them to our Grafton facility for milling and processing.

Storm Damage Cleanup
Storm damage can be traumatic to a tree. The loss of portions of the canopy can make the tree more unbalanced, thus more likely to have future damage. Large wounds are likely to develop into decay pockets and can weaken the tree.
Tree Planting
A project that encompasses multiple facets of tree care including aerial work with pruning and/or removal along with groundwork such as woody invasive species removal, and/or pruning or removal of smaller trees and shrubs. *If tree planting is requested we may not be able to cover the cost of the nursery stock.

Tree Pruning and Trimming
After the clean up of broken or fallen limbs, the next important thing to do is to inspect the structure of the remaining tree. Often corrective pruning can be done to the tree to minimize future problems for the tree. Stubs or tears are removed with proper flat cuts that leave less surface area for decay to develop. Strained, cracked or damaged limbs are removed. Storm events can leave a tree with weak structure and limbs or stems more prone to exposure to wind. A certified arborist can review the tree and determine if pruning other parts of the tree will make the tree stouter and better able to withstand natureâ€™s fury.
Tree Maintenance
Tree work can be rewarding and wide-ranging, as every job is different. From climbing trees to running the bucket truck, or operating chippers and stump grinders, and treating insects and diseases; there is always something different to do every day.

Tree Mulching
Hoppe Tree Service can grind both large and small stumps. We have smaller and larger sized machines depending upon the size of the stump and the access to it. We often leave the stump shavings in place (they can make a good mulch around the yard) but we do have the ability to haul them away if needed.
