I had 2 encounters with Empire Carpets that had negative results
.Encounter #1
The installer showed and with a bit of waiting, he said he did not have enough carpet. The measurements from the salesman was off.
Tried to get ahold of the salesman to which I got aa voicemail. I tried to call Empire on their 800 number. After holding for an hour, I hung up, then tried the other 2 800 numbers. Those were also "on hold".
After 2 hours of waiting I told the installer to leave. Shortly after that, the salesman calls and then proceeds to argue with me.
I cancelled the order

I wanted to speak with a "boss" so I figured I would have to stay on the line for over an hour. To my surprise, within a couple of minutes I had a "live" person on the other end.
I demanded to see to someone who is in charge. They gave me the "head" salesman. He sent out another salesman to "help" me.
Well, we set up another carpet installation.
When the installer arrived, it was the WRONG color, the measurements were wrong.
I talked with the saleman, after trying the 800 number of which they told me they had no boss. The salesman said he would see about getting the "head" of the Denver office to speak with me.
It has been over 2 weeks, and that "person" who might be charge? has never called. No I'm sorry, let's make this right for you, no nothing. Otherwords, the customer be damned
No, I do not recommend Empire, I would say, RUN, not walk away from Empire

This is the worst company I ever dealt with. I got carpet installed from them in October 2016 for the holidays, ever room that I have carpet installed the carpet started to buckle. So I call them in November 2017 and ask to speak to a supervisor and told he about my rugs, he stated to me that because I had my carpets for over a year that if I wanted them fix that I had to pay $100.00 per buckle. Never. Again!!!

They answered quickly, but didn't answer my question quickly at first... Didn't speak their point clearly. I asked a second time if they could install 120 yards of carpet in my home and said that they only install their own carpet that you have to buy at their establishment. Otherwise polite, but not very helpful....
