I live in Boston,NY and have a condo in Cocoa Beach,FL. I needed tile work repair in the shower and Steve did a great job. He was very honest, competitive and professional. In fact in my other bathroom where I had the handyman from my HOA do tile repair, Steve went and corrected the improper repair performed by that handyman. Steve just finished tiling my bathrooms and did a great job. He left the bathrooms spotless clean. He is very precise in his work. I will hire him again when I add a full bath on my ground floor. I recommended him to my next door neighbor already. His prices are very reasonable.

Steve Courtney and his nephew, Jimbo are two folks who absolutely know the tiling business inside and out. Steve came by on a "Sunday" to give me an estimate of work to re-tile a walk-in shower and made himself available within two days to start the job. For 3 1/2 straight days this two-man team came on time, every time, and completed the job well within their schedule. Steve has been doing tile work for over 25 years and is a professional in every respect. He's nice, courteous and works very hard to get the job done right. His quoted prices were very fair and the results were superb! They cleaned up after each day's work and thoroughly cleaned the entire bathroom when finished. I will hire these two people again!

Did the job---looks great--cleaned up--really cares about his work. Steve and Jimbo took their time and made sure everything was right. Would highly recommend.

We hired Steve to install wood plank tile in our bedrooms. He does an excellent job and is very neat. He is meticulous in his work and I plan to hire him again in the future.

Needed to get the tile floor in my shower redone. Searched on line for someone to do the job. Came across Steve Courtney. He has very good reviews, so I decided to call him for an estimate. He arrived on time for the estimate and his prices are good. Hired him to do the work. The tile job on the floor of the shower was professionally done and I am pleased with the workmanship. Looks much better than the tile job that was originally installed. Would definitely use him again when the time comes to do more tile work. As others have stated, Steve left the site very clean. I found Steve Courtney at the Yellow Pages online & checked the reviews. After reading them, I thought there’s no way any one person could get nothing but rave reviews. I'm happy to say I was wrong.



We called on a Wednesday morning and Steve came that afternoon to give us a quote. He and Jim were at our home on Friday to get started. From the first phone call to the final work on our bathroom, Steve & Jim have been consummate professionals. The quality of work is outstanding. They are also friendly, accommodating and go way above and beyond to make the customer happy.



Steve not only does beautiful work, he is there when he says he’ll be there, he does all the things he’s said he’ll do, and he doesn’t add more charges on top of what he quotes. (His quote, by the way, was VERY reasonable.)

If you need tile work Steve Courtney is the guy to call. I ran into a serious problem when I attempted to replace a broken soap dish recessed into the shower wall. I spoke earlier with Steve on the phone and he very graciously gave me some advice but I soon realized I was over my head. Steve showed up promptly and did a fantastic job restoring our shower at a very reasonable price. The shower is pretty much at end of life and needs replacing, which I knew. Steve explained thoroughly what would be needed with zero sales pressure. When the time comes to replace the shower Steve will be our one and only contact to get the job done because we know it will be done right.

Steve and Bo did a great job installing a glass and stone backsplash in my kitchen. They showed up on time, were very friendly, and walked me through the process asking about my preferences. Steve had some very good ideas that I hadn’t considered. Steve and Bo are precision tile cutters and installers. I am very pleased with the outcome and will definitely use them again and will recommend them to my friends.

Steve does great work at very reasonable prices.I had him come down to do a fairly small bathroom job with tile that my wife and I selected at Home Depot. His work was fast and clean and we are very happy with the end result. He did exactly what we asked and made very reasonable recommendations on better ways to do a few of the things we asked. He cleaned up after himself and was in and out in two days. He was also available very quickly, which was a huge plus for us. I highly recommend him for tile work.

We contacted Steve to rebuild our leaking shower. He replaced all the wall board and installed new tile. He did a fantastic job, exceeding our expectations. What I liked most about our experience with Steve was his professionalism. I contacted him, he said he would come by at a certain time and provide an estimate. He can when he said he would. We agreed on the price, which was better then the competition, and he told me when he could start. He called the night before starting the project and confirmed he would arrive the next morning at 9. He came on time, completed the project on schedule and cleaned up completely after the job. He is friendly and takes pride in his work. You would be hard pressed to find a Tradesman as Professional as Steve. Our shower looks great. We plan on using Steve for other Tile Projects in the future. Hire him !

A super nice guy who does SUPER NICE tile work! Steve and his assistant just laid wood grain look tile in my condo, and it looks GREAT! Not only is he clean but also meticulous! He caulked along all of the baseboards and even replaced one of the base moldings. The best tile work I've seen - I'm impressed!

5 Star tile contractor! I hired Steve Courtney to tile my master bathroom, which included some minor design-- I needed him to remove a shower wall, and make my shower zero entry. He offered many helpful suggestions, which I happily agreed to and I couldn't be happier with the end result. Steve and his team worked fast-- 5 days!! I trusted Steve with a garage door opener so he could let himself in-- every afternoon when I returned home from work, the work area (and my house!) were so clean! You couldn't even tell they had been demo-ing/tiling a bathroom!! Also, I had some minor damage to my guest bath as a result of the demo in the master and Steve willingly and happily repaired it. Can't say enough good things about this contractor. Hire him!

Fantastic Kitchen Backsplash



Based on the recommendations right here on yellowpages.com, we called Steve to get an estimate on a kitchen backsplash installation using glass subway tile we’d found online. He was everything you would expect and hope for in a tile installer, but have such a devil of a time finding.



He was responsive, pleasant, provided an accurate estimate, and was able to complete the job quickly. He called to confirm our appointment, arrived on-time, and cleaned up afterward. As a bonus, he was careful with the tile cutting and usage, so we have plenty of leftover tile to make trivets and coasters, or possibly really obnoxious jewelry. The kitchen looks awesome, and we will definitely be repeat customers.

At the recommendation of a Contractor friend, we called Steve Courtney to repair broken glass window blocks in our guest bath. Steve worked with our schedule and came on a Saturday afternoon, checked the situation and gave us a quote. We accepted the quote and scheduled the repair a few days later. Steve even showed up EARLY and started work. As with can construction repairs, Steve found the repair was not as he thought it would be. Steve worked very HARD at solving the problem, which ended up taking all morning. The window was fixed, looks great and he didn't charge morning that the quote even though it was much more than originally expected. I did have him fix a few other cracks in the tile floor and he charged me a very minimum for that effort, which I expected even more. I highly recommend Steve Courtney Tile, Inc., and have already done so. A very happy customer!

Steve removed a cracked shower stall and basically rebuilt our shower from scratch including building a new shower pan, installing two new niches, and tiling the entire thing. Prompt service even against a tight timeline just before the holidays. Quote was spot on. No hidden or extra costs tacked on at the end of the job. Qualtiy work that is second to none. We would recomend him to anyone.

We had Steve Install a complex marble backlash behind our stove. He was here on time and did an excellent job and cleaned up everything before he left.

He did exactly what he quoted and we will definitely use him again.
