Big Head Chuck's Tree Service & Firewood

Chuck gave me a estimate and told me he could cut down a tree the following week. After 4 weeks straight of being pushed back "I can definitely get your tree down next week", I was finally able to make it on his "schedule" for a "guaranteed" noon apt. When 1:30 rolled around and I had not heard from him, I texted him to confirm the day, no response so I called and he said they were finishing up another job and he would be there shortly. No phone call, no text, no email. I had taken off from work to meet someone that never showed up, or let me know anything about my apt. When I wrote him an email the next day requesting a cancellation of our "contract" (which I had to basically beg him for, and then when I got it, it wasn't the agreed amount, and he refused to change the contract) he said "Sounds good find somebody to do it cheaper and give you a fair deal as I did I told you in the very beginning I was backed up nobody else will treat you honestly just get your estimates you'll see"

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I got a quote and made an appointment to have two trees taken down. When no one showed up, I called Jason (quote guy) who told me that he thought that they were already on site. He called back an hour later to apologize and say that I had been rescheduled for the next day. This was inconvenient for me but I agreed. Needless to say, day two rolled around and still no sign of them. When I called Jason, he was once again "surprised", and said he would call me right back. An hour went by with no call, so I texted him. He then got mad at me and told me that the crew had been to my house and moved on when I didn't answer the door. That was simply not true; I had been sitting next to the door all morning. Jason then said that he couldn't help it because he was out quoting new business. I told him that I found it unethical to go out quoting business if you know that you can't guarantee the crews will show up and he called me unethical for not having patience! Never again!

CONSUMER ALERT! Do not hire Big Head Chuck's Tree Service! After assuring me that winter was the best time to trim trees (when they are leaf less) he came out in November and trimmed the bottom half of 4 Bradford pears then said he would come back inThe spring (?) to top them off! I paid him in full (foolishly) and guess what... One excuse after another since the beginning of February and he hasn't returned.... I give up!

We hired this company to take several trees in a yard that could of been very difficult . They did one hell of a job. I have never seen a bunch of guys in 100 degree weather get along so well. Well organized company! And Chuck has very fair prices!!!!!

I hired Big Head Chuck's Tree Service to remove three trees from my yard. I am more than pleased with the work his crew did. They showed up on the date and at the time promised and worked safely, efficiently and effectively to remove the trees. They were professional and courteous and made sure all the debris from the job was removed. Before they left my property they asked if I saw anything they might have missed...I am happy to report they missed nothing. I recommend Big Head Chuck's Tree Service without any reservations. Oh, I forgot to mention...the amount charged was more than fair. I recommend Chuck's to all my family and friends for tree work.

Chucks crew showed up at a decient time, worked hard and got all the trees down and my yard cleaned up within 6 hours.The service was great and his price beat everyone elses. I've used Chuck for tree services and firewood delivery. Both were great experiences. He worked with me on the price of my tree service, got it done in a resonable time frame and clean up was very thorough. The load of seasoned oak firewood was HUGE!!!! I paid $100. for what looked to be 200 peices of wood, they delivered it, stacked it neatly and was very friendly. I tipped they $20. I won't need wood again til next year.
