A1 Stained/Leaded Glass & Repairs

Trey did a fantastic job at fixing a crack in my leaded glass sidelight next to my front door. The new glass now matches the surrounding glass exactly. Trey also replaced a piece of leaded glass in the front door, that another company replaced years earlier with the wrong type of glass. My front entrance now looks like new and is sparkling. Trey communicated the project to me very accurately and made no promises, but the result exceeded my expectations.

We were in need of an urgent repair on a hammered multi-colored panel. Once Trey saw our photos, he told us exactly what was required. He was able to come within 48 hours and provided an exceptional restoration. We highly recommend.

Trey took on our antique piece (90+years old) that had been hand-crafted by a relative. There were numerous small cracks and broken pieces due to a rough move across country. Trey not only matched the antique glass, he repaired the old lead and made our piece look beautiful and solid again. The price was extremely reasonable and the turn-around time was excellent. We strongly recommend A-1 as a business that knows and loves stained glass. Superior work!

Trey showed up on time and worked quickly and well. He took the time to explain such issues as why the new glass was different from the old glass, but when finished, I could not tell between them!

He also warned me to allow the glass to cure and explained how to look for leakage, scrape it off, etc.

Finally, A-1 saved me more than $50 over what the least expensive replacement entry door might have cost!

I recently discoverd my leaded glass window above my bathtub had several cracks running through it. A new window was not in the budget, so I decided to find a "glass master'. I surely did find one with Foster "Trey" Thomas. Within two hours he had my window looking like brand new... for a 1/4 of the cost of a new replacement window. His artistic skills were impeccable. I just stand back and look at my once cracked window in awe... Trey is a true artist... Prompt, professional and courteous.. His card is now on my fridge in case I ever have window pains again...

Trey was an absolutely wonderful person with whom to work. We had a big job (repairing several 100+ yo stained glass windows, adding custom polycarbonate protectors to exterior of all stained glass windows, creating a beautiful custom stained glass door to match existing stained glass and removing some poorly installed interior glass) that required several trips but he proved that anything to do with glass, he not only can do it but do it really well. He helped bring our house back to its original beauty and then some.

Trey did everything you would want a really good craftsvman to do. I sent an email with pictures of the 2 cracked panes in my door and sidelight. Trey called me back within 30 minutes and asked all the pertinent questions and giving me all the info that I needed. We set a time and he showed up exactly on time. He explained what needed to be done, had the perfect color of glass with him and did the repair just perfectly. I could not have asked for anything more - a perfect job. I am so happy and would recommend A1 Glass to anyone. It is really hard to find this type of crafts man now.

My 25 year old stained glass front door was broken in one panel that had a curve to it. We called A1 and spoke to Trey, he asked if we could send him a picture of the broken glass, so he could bring the correct type of glass over with him. Sure enough..he got the right glass and went to work immediately! He did a PERFECT JOB..you'd never know it was broken!! His price was more than fair and he is a true gentleman and artist!! I would highly recommend him to all my friends!
