Kip's Mobile Auto Service

On vacation in N Myrtle Beach and started having trouble with my brakes that were just replaced before we left Ohio. I found Kips Mobile Auto Repair on Craigslist and they were at my house the next morning. I can’t say enough about the mechanic who showed up from Kips. Grady was able to accurately diagnose what the issue was with the brakes and repaired it the way it should have been done the first time. He went above and beyond what he needed to do by lubing the front end after the repair and made me aware of an additional issue that may need attention down the road. He did this when it was over 90 degrees out and I can truly say Grady was more interested in doing a quality job and taking pride in his craft than getting out of the heat!! I wish I could have had them do it in the first place!

Came down to MB for a weekend getaway and unfortunately ended up having some car trouble. After going to a mainstream auto shop and them quoting me for the repair work ($1800+) I had to find another option! Found Kip and gave him a call and he assured me he could do the work for less than half the price I was quoted, called Saturday and he was there the next morning! (Needed an AC Compressor replaced btw.) He came and fixed it and everything is working great now and most importantly he helped me get back home safely! Great guy and I’d recommend him to everyone!

Kipp came out and did motor mounts and valve cover gaskets on my 2003 vw Passat, he took his time and did a great job all while saving me hundreds of dollars, even over the other local Moblie mechanics, and I got to sit at home and do the things I needed to get done while my car was being fixed! I will definitely be using Kipp for all my auto repair and maintenance needs!

I was having issues with my Chrysler 200 overheating! It turned out to be my thermostat. They arrived super fast and did the job very well! There prices can't be matched! I got you on speed dial Kip. Keep up the good work

I was having trouble with the wheel hub on my 93 Jeep Cherokee XJ. I tried fixing it my self but couldn't. Met Kip while standing in line at the parts house. He told me that he was a mobile mechanic and if I had any trouble to give him a call. He seemed honest so I took his card. With three days of busted knuckles and aggravation I decided it was time to call a pro. He came out the next day on time. He had me up and running in a lil over an hour. His work is great. His customer service is top notch. And his prices are incredible!! Will be calling again for future repairs.
