Perry's Bait & Tackle

So...the bluefish are biting in the surf and you have no idea what to use or where to go to get it. Problem solved. Perry's Bait has everything you need and a very knowledgable (and cute) staff to help you. I visited to get the skinny on what bait and rigs to use to catch some fish in the surf and came away with a new surf rod, and plenty of gizmos to go along with it, plus local knowledge and a compelling reason to return. This place is awesome. It's small and right across the street from the "Lazy Gator" gift shop. If you looked at it compared to Bass Pro Shops etc, you'd miss it. It has the most complete and eclectic variety of fishing gear you could wish for. Look up in the rafters for deals on rod and reel combos, and the assortment of rigs and bait is astonishing.

If you're in the area it's worth stopping in just to see what a classic Ernest Hemingway type fishing store used to look like. The people there were very pleasant and really new their snells from their trebel hooks.
