Wizard Of Wood Flooring

We hired the Wizards of wood to refinish the existing hardwood floors in a home we purchased. The hardwood floors were covered up with carpeting. After we took possession of the house we removed the carpeting. We were very disappointed to see that there were areas where walls were moved and there were some pet stains. When the Wizards showed up, we showed them the areas we were very concerned about. They explained to us that they could patch the areas and lace in the new boards so that it would look like it was always like that. We were a little skeptical but we took their word on it. After they completed the job we were amazed that we cannot tell where the patches are. We even had to look at pictures we took to see if we could tell where the patches were. They did a remarkable job and would use them again.

We hired the Wizard of Wood Flooring to replace a damaged section of our wood floor and then had all of our wood floors refinished. The crew was prompt and polite. They were hard working and kept our home tidy. The project was even finished a day ahead of schedule. We used the low dust Bona dust containment system and were very pleased and it was quite worth it. The floors looked beautiful. We would highly recommend the Wizard of Wood Flooring.

This has been on my To Do List; to write to praise Wizard of Wood flooring for the work they
did, for their reliability, and for their friendly, considerate, hardworking employees.

Pete and Mike were our guys. Pete introduced himself and his partner Mike, to the
two of us first thing and we liked them right away. They went right to work.
What nice guys. They repaired the family room floor and unless you are very picky you wouldn't notice where the repair was done. Pete matched the stain and the wood very well. He also did a repair
to the kitchen floor that even the fussiest of persons would never be able to detect.

As for my studio- that terrible abused hardwood floor is now a masterpiece of
perfection. I like just looking at it. I like going in the room, a former hovel, which is
now neat and organized and I plan to keep it that way.

And just a suggestion. They need to Hang on to that secretary who answered the phone and
delivered the wood. She was very helpful in answering my questions.

I've already recommended them to a friend who wants work done.

In case I haven't made it clear with the above writing. I am 100 per cent satisfied with everything about wizard of wood flooring did. We don't have a single complaint.

On a personal note about contractors

We have some painting done and, although they did a decent job, they left at the end of the
day without putting any of the faceplate back on the outlets. So what do I remember?
That.

We had windows put in and after being gone for a while I came into the house with all of
the men having lunch at our dining room table. I would be happy to have them let them do that
but it seemed assumptive to not have asked permission. The guys from Wizard of wood flooring even asked to if they could use our bathroom which I wouldn't find necessary but that was very considerate.

We had some tiles taken up in our front hall, by another company and without any advice or warning from the workers all the dust and chips from the tile went through the floor boards covering
everything on our basement. That was the worst clean-up I have ever had.

I could go on and on, but this is a top notch contractor versus a mediocre one.

We hired another company to come into our house and replace some damaged boards and to refinish our floors. After a day and a half, we realized that they were not a quality-minded operation. We kicked them off the job. After we had 4 different companies review the work that the other company did, we felt most comfortable with Mike from the Wizard of Wood Flooring. He was the most knowledgeable out of everyone that came out. He explained to us what the other company did wrong and how he was going to fix it. After the "wizards" did their magic, I was amazed at how fantastic the floor looked. They did such a good job on the repairs that we were unable to even spot the areas that were repaired. I would definitely recommend Mike and the Wizard of Wood Flooring. Thanks again for the beautiful job!

Michael and his team are spot on in every aspect of their business that I utilized. Beyond that, their pricing and responsiveness were excellent. They even cut in a new board into a space between two rooms where there used to be an unsightly transition. I love my refinished floor, and visitors to my home comment on it frequently. I will use their services in the future if I decide to have wood flooring installed in some of my bedrooms.

Good job...not nearly as dusty as anticipated.

We did a small bump out in our dining room and needed hardwood installed and finished to match the existing floor. Michael came and said he would do it but warned us it was difficult to get an exact match on color and finish. We went ahead and they were great about working around Thanksgiving. The first effort was OK but not perfect. Michael said it was not good enough for him and they came and resanded and started over. They did 3 different finishes in their efforts to make the job as good as possible. They just DID NOT give up and the result is pretty close to perfect. I am sure they lost a fair amount on this job but they were so kind and accommodating it was amazing. I know this job had to be a small irritation to them but they stayed with it until it was right. This company exhibits a rare commitment to their customers. I cannot rate them high enough.

Excellent refinishing of living room, dining room hallway and 2 bedrooms. Installation of new hardwood in entryway. Excellent craftsmanship. Punctual and clean. Did the job when promised and left the area spotless. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Mike and his crew came out to our house and worked on our hardwood floors. They replaced some boards and refinished our oak floors in the kitchen, eating area, hallway and family room. They look like brand new. They did such a good job I cannot tell which boards they replaced. They also used their new low dust sanding system and the result was great. There was only a slight trace of dust when they were done. Mike and his crew are very knowledgeable about the products and materials that are available. I would highly recommend Wizard of Wood for your projects.

Wizard of wood flooring did an EXCELLENT job! I could not be happier! At first I was kind of nervous getting this done because I had no idea about what stain to pick or anything about the installation process. They made it very simple and easy for me to understand the process. They sanded part of the floor and put stain samples on the floor for me to pick. I liked having that so I could visually see what it would look like on my floor. They did a very good job cleaning up and I really liked the Dustless containment system! It was cleaner than it was before they even started! I would highly recommend them to anyone I know that is considering getting their floors done.
