General Info: Steven J. Fowler, MD, joined Montage Medical Group from New York University Langone Medical Center, where he served as director of the Inherited Arrhythmia Clinic and was part of the Cardiovascular Genetics Program since its inception. He specializes in treatment of irregular heartbeat, or arrhythmia. Dr. Fowler completed a residency in internal medicine at Scripps in San Diego Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in San Diego. He did a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at UC Irvine, and was chief fellow in clinical cardiovascular electrophysiology at NYU. Dr. Fowler is board-certified in clinical cardiovascular electrophysiology and cardiovascular disease and serves as the medical director of Community HospitalAEs electrophysiology laboratory.
