Evolutions Salon

My daughter had the most beautiful, longest, thickest, to die for hair. This salon completely fried and ruined her hair. Taylor who is one of the stylist at the salon chemically burnt my daughter's hair to within an inch of her roots. She was going in for a three-part process. Absolutely nothing happened on the first two. On the third one she left the chemical in my daughter's hair for over an hour. The next day I called Taylor on the phone. Who said she had company and did not have time to hang out on the phone. My daughter is only 16 years old. It's hard enough to be a teenager. Now she does not even want to come out of her room.

The salon itself seems like a nice place. I like that you can put the tip on the card. I got a really bad hair cut, though. It might be just the girl who cut my hair, so I don't want to say anything too negative about the whole salon. You might want to request someone with more experience. I'm going to try to upload a photo of the weird hair cut. I told her I wanted to grow my hair out, but that I still wanted some layers, and she cut off about 2 inches of my top layer all the way around my head. The layers aren't blended at all. I really don't know why she would purposefully do this to someone, even if they asked for it (which I didn't). I'm mad that I have to go pay someone else to fix it because I'm not going back to her!

I have been going here for the last year. Kendal is fantastic. Everyone is very nice here especially the owner. The salon is very professional and clean. They have free Kurig coffee and cookies. I highly recommend this salon.

Terrible!!! Will never walk in there again. Not only did I have one bad experience there but I had two! After the second time of going back there, I left with orange.....and I mean orange hair and was suppose to get a trim and she took 5 inches off!!!!! I then returned the next day so she could "fix it" and still left with orange hair! Utterley ridiculous! I spent $175 to get my hair done there and left there extremely dissatisfied! I just went to another salon for them to fix it and it now looks amazing (another $172 later) besides the fact that I still lost my 5 inches. Save your time, money and sanity and don't even walk in this place!!!! The owner never even contacted me the second time nor gave me my money back!

After going to another local hair salon in the chesterfield area, for the last couple years - it was becoming more of a boutique then salon & day spa. swimsuits & jeans really? It was so nice to come to Evolutions and not have stuff all over. The decor is simple, clean and neat. They are professional. The owner spoke to me which was nice. Everyone from the receptionidst, stylist and owner were pleasant. It was a great experience. Which I felt was lost at my previos place.
