apex wood floors

Terrible! These guys are a disaster!!! DO NOT USE! I called Friday for an estimate, Joel said that he would come Saturday - but he was a no show! I called them back when they didn't come and spoke with his partner Tony who told me he was very sorry and he guaranteed that he would come Monday at 3PM - BUT NO SHOW AGAIN!!! Not only did I waste my entire Saturday (appointment was at noon) but I also wasted Monday afternoon. Extremely unprofessional!!!

I recently had Joel and his team @ Apex work on installing new wood floors and refinishing my current Oak wood floors that are over 60 years old.



Joel came in and provided an estimate and took moisture readings and was able to help us determine it was time to change a part of our floor that had succumb to water damage and severe wear and tear.



The Apex team removed the old floor, prepped the area for the new floor and installed the wood in a timely fashion. We were more than overwhelmed with joy of the result of our new floor and the service provided that we asked them to refinish our old floor as well.



As with the first area the Apex team helped in covering and protecting the surrounding area, sanded and refinishing the floor leaving it looking brand new.



I would recommend using Apex Wood Floors for any work you need done in your home and Joel Perez and his team have the professionalism to get the job done right.

He talks a good game. Joel assured me his equipment was DUST FREE, told me they would do all of the work with the AC off. After completion, as we first re-opened the house we found it sweltering. No problem, I thought lets turn on the AC, but to my horror its ON and turned to 60. Upon further inspection the entire unit is so severely frozen up (20lbs of ice) that it took hours to defrost. As we pull the filter about a pound of sawdust comes out. UGH!

Joel ,upon hearing that we had a problem starts denying everything. Mr Nice Joel is gone and the screaming guy who hangs up takes over. Just come see I said. There is such a thing as PROOF, and I have it. Please come look at what you did. We wait for the rest of the day and no Joel. I sent an email showing the damage and I just got an email from Apex saying they challenge my accusations and are willing to dispute. They are disputing a series of pictures of an AC full of sawdust and covered in ice.

Do not use Apex. Spend a little more for a professional company.

JOEL AND TONY FROM "APEX WOOD FLOORS" CAME BACK YESTERDAY TO FINISH THE JOB. NOW, I UNDERSTAND THE DELAY TO FINISH IT. I AM POSTING THIS REVIEW AGAIN TO THAK JOEL AN D TONY FOR THE BEAUTIFUL JOB DONE. MY FLOORS ARE IMPECABLE AND BEAUTIFUL. I AM SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS AND I WILL CERTAINLY USE "APEX WOOD FLOORS" AGAIN.

Overall excellent experience. Joel was able to work with us in every manner imaginable. We would recommend him any day for any project. The floors needed desperate refinishing and after his work came out absolutely beautiful, looking brand new. Very reasonably priced for such beautiful work. We could not be happier.

I had Apex come and sand about 120 Sq ft which had some marks to be taken out. Their was plenty of material to sand but after 2hrs and 1000.00 they called it quits. When asked to return to finish they wanted more money and kept saying that the contract said this and contract said that. Corners were not done, and the job was very unsatisfactory. This price was only to sand!! not finish or seal.
