        Jamal F. Allen founded Allen & Associates, PLC in 1996 to protect the rights of people who have been injured by the negligence of others and those who have been charged with a crime. He received a B.A. in Communications from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 1990 and his Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University College of Law in 1993. Prior to founding our firm, Mr. Allen defended insurance companies at a large Arizona civil defense law firm. He also prosecuted a variety of felony matters as a prosecutor in the Maricopa County Attorney office. His in-depth knowledge of personal injury and criminal defense law provides clients with trusted and experienced legal representation. Mr. Allen is authorized to practice in all courts in Arizona, in the U.S. Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.         I had a very tough case for DUI. I called on Mr. Allen to handle the case. The staff was great and listened to my needs and side of the story. The never made any personal judgements about my case. As we neared my court date I was nervous but Mr. Allen reassured me that everything would go very well and boy did it ever. I told my story to Mr. Allen and he found major errors and flaws from the arresting officer including a large range of the legal limit from .05 to .08. The charge was reduced to reckless driving and I did not have to spend any time in jail or have a device put on my car at any time. I was innocent and Mr. Allen proved it. I would recommend Mr. Allen and his staff ( Kourtnie) to anyone who comes up with a concern with the law that is in his scope of practice. Thanks to Mr. Allen and his staff, I can still go about my business. I have learned a valuable lesson of not ever putting myself in this position again.

        Mr. Allen was able to resolve my case within a couple of months time and I was very pleased with the efficient and courteous service his office provided. He calmly advised me to be patient and to let the process work. I'm very thankful that his due diligence resulted in a favorable decision.
