Flooring America of Mesa

I ordered some laminate wood flooring and some carpeting to be installed. The day the wood flooring was to be installed I stayed home from work to make sure everything went ok. The installers didn't show until 1:00 after I had made numerous phonecalls to the office. The site supervisor stated they forgot to put this job on the list for the day. He left a worker to remove my old carpet and prep the area and said he would be right back. The worked finished rather quickly and then stood around for 3 hours waiting for his supervisor to return. He finally asked to borrow our phone to call the supervisor who came by around 6:00 to pick him up, effectively getting about 2 hours work done for the day. The next day was more of the same confusion, with the workers coming late and leaving early, not completing the 2 days job on time. As a result I had to take an extra day off from work for them to finish which they still were not able to do as they didn't bring the correct transition peices and had to come back one evening to complete. The next project was the carpeting. I removed all the furniture from our bedroom so they could do the install. They showed up, only a hour later then promised but with the wrong carpet. It took another 2 weeks for them to get the correct carpet and for them to complete the install. I asked the owner what he could do to compensate me for the extra day off work and all the hassle from their miscommunications and she said pretty much ignored it. On top of all that they charged me more on the no interest loan than the agreed upon price and it took them 2 weeks to get me a check to correct the difference. The only bright note in working with this company was the salesperson was great. He was friendly and sincerely seemed upset by all the problems during the install, but he hands were tied by his superiors who don't appear to know how to manage the company. Good luck to whomever gets something installed by them.
