Top Notch Marine

I'm writing because I just had my third service from Top Notch on my engine and I am very happy. They always do a great job and make me feel good about my decision to deal with them. What a great crew!

We are VERY DISSATISFIED customers. Worse customer service ever....
We ordered a new Starcraft SVX191 boat and had to wait 3 months to take delivery, due to the manufacture being closed due to Covid. That we understood and wasn't an issue. However the service or lack of I service I should say has been horrible. When we went to take delivery, they were very unorganized. We were given absolutely nothing on the new boat, motor or Hummingbird depth finder system. We used the boat one time and the depth finder didn't work. So a seven hour round trip back to Top Notch we were to the system was fried and a manufacture defect. So they said that a warranty claim would need to be submitted in order for them to send us a new depth finder. We agreed to install the new depth finder our self rather then take it back to have it installed. Then we would mail the damaged one back to Hummingbird. Now we have now been waiting more then a month. When we call Top Notch we get either no return phone call or poor service when we do speak to anyone. We have a new boat that now after 4 months, still unable to enjoy. The girl from Top Notch now calls us today after waiting a month for the new depth finder, to say that she needs us to give her information and serial number in order for her to file the claim with Hummingbird for the warranty replacement. So she is asking us to give them the information after they gave us nothing at the time of delivery. We still haven't received any paperwork and have no DMV paperwork or numbers for this brand new boat that is a lawn ornament in our yard. Once the sale was complete and they sold us a $38,000.00 it was as if they no longer care about customer service. This has been the very worse customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. I wouldn't recommend Top Notch Marine to anyone. We are VERY DISSATISFIED customers.

Poor customer service and unethical business practices...this boat dealership doesn't stand up for what is right nor will they stand-by their word. Very disappointed, purchased a new boat and its been a horrible experience dealing with Top-Notch (Ft. Pierce and Melbourne) on every occasion. Buyer beware and stay clear of these folks!!!

Working with the Melbourne marine has been a Nighmare .
We have been treated very poorly and lied to. I feel like we need to warn people to stay away from this place because as of now they won't return the brand new boat we bought that has been defective since day 1.
Here are the dates :
5/26/17 we drove all the way there to get it .
Had to turn around without a boat
6/9/17 went back to pick it up and payed for it . We brought it home
6/11/17 tried to used it . Boat didn't work


( before 5/26/17) we worked with them for about 3 weeks in to just get them to get the boat ready for delivery.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!
DONT BELIEVE THEM AT ALL! They lie !
I WISH WE HAD READ REVIEWS BEFORE EVER SETTING FOOT ON THAT PLACE .
Update :
Well , the The nightmare continues, they replace an engine because selling us the defective boat. That needed a new engine .They ripped the vinyl when they were working on it. They kept us waiting for at least eight months and when we took the boat back by trailing it for 2.5 Hours they informed us that they did not have the part, they never did so they lied again.They also lied to us about everything working on the boat and the radio was broken from day one. After once again taking the boat in for service We just got the boat back after having it in the marine for a month and is not working at all, they gave it to us absolutely filthy and they had on screwed the plug to the boat putting us in danger if we were to put it in the water.
Worse costumer service I have ever experience in my life !, lack of attention to detail ( as in returning a boat with no plug and a dead battery ), non responsive to our concerns .
Do yourself a favor and NEVER! Deal with Top Notch Marine in Melbourne . We only went back for warranty service because it's the only Cobalt dealer within 3 hours .
I hope we never have to see them again , but unfortunately they just keep screwing us .

I have been a customer since we moved to Merritt Island in 2008. They have always treated us fair and we bought a boat from them and also use them for repairs. Again, good eperience and fair pricing. We tried another boat place north and were sorry we did. We went back to Top Notch and won't leave again.

As a former employee of Topnotch Marine I can say this place is horrible. I'm a recent employee of topnotch marine melbourne fl facility. When I was asked to put in automotive oil in a brandnew yamaha outboard for an annual service and not replace a mandatory fuel filter which is required by yamaha I knew this place was a joke specially for a yamaha dealer. This owner Jim Sabia don't care nothing about is employees. I was supposed to recieve my check on pay day and still o this day haven't received it. He simply don't care. Then was let go over my background which was never discussed upon being hiring. Simply a place of bad business. I'm not one to write something like this but when you have a newborn child and are the only source of income and your employer lies to you and screws you it's time to let the world know. This place is crap I worked there I wouldn't recommend bringing anything here to be worked on in this hack shop.

Having been a boat owner and buyer for 40 years this company gave us the best service in our lifetime. From walking into the showroom to viewing the huge inventory selection, I will say this team is really Top Notch. Took delivery and they helped us get implemented to the new boat. Great people! We and our grandkids love the new pontoon!
