This has been my eye doctor for over 25 years & they are fantastic. Thorough exams, great customer service & very accomodating when you are in a pinch for eye needs (losing a contact). Highly recommend you make your appointmenet & see for yourself!!

I have worked for big name eyeglass places before, and even high end optical shops in and around Aspen, Colorado. Now I live here, in Mc Henry. I must say, This optometrist office is the BEST I've ever ecountered. From doctor knowledge, to the well informed staff, quality and service were outstanding.

We have state aide and were seen by Dr. Peterson. He was extremely helpful, answered all my questions and took the time to explain why I have been having trouble seeing out of my right eye. He even explained about why I have "floaters" in my eyes in bright sunlight, where as the last dr. I saw just said, "that's normal". I thought the ladies in the office were very nice and professional, and I have been in offices where the receptionist has said things like, "Here's your state aide card back" after making a copy of it so the whole office could hear. Happily I did not have that experience at this office, I will happily go back even with new insurance. I also got my glasses within 3-4 weeks, which state aide or not is very normal.

Both my Husband and I have been receiving service from Dr. Jannotta for over 5 years. He takes the time to explain things and make sure to answer all our questions. Customer service is outstanding. I would highly recommend their office.

during these rough economical times I have to rely on my insurance through the state. And for those of you that have insurance through the state you know optometrist are hard to find. I was very pleased to know that I could count on this office and didnt have to travel out of mchenry. But after my appointment there I would rather pay out of pocket anywhere else!!! I was looking around at the glasses with my son before we were seen and a employee announced for people in the waiting room to hear "oh no, their(meaning my children) glasses are in a box they are free with your STATE AID but you wont get them for 2-4 months." I was COMPLETELY outdone!! at first i was just going to ignore the very rude comment , but because i was embarrassed I had to say something I let her know I felt that she was being rude. I had money for glasses just not the extra cash to pay out of pocket for the exam.... she made me feel like we had no buissnes even looking at the glasses..... the dr that examined myse

I have been going to Dr Jannotta for 20+ years. Dr Jannotta is very professional and friendly. I have a rare eye problem that is hard to fit with contacts. Dr Jannotta is very thorough and patient. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 contact fittings to fit the contacts correctly and get the vision crisp. There is a reasonable one time fee, and no hidden charges. I even have Dr Jannotta's personal cell phone number for when I have had problems with my contacts outside of his normal business hours. Dr Jannotta is always willing to help.
