        Booked thru Orbits on 5/23/08, two nites, 7/4 and 7/5/08, king bed, non-smoking two people, pd $185 with M/C. Received on confirmation info, which I took with me. Called hotel on 7/4 and told them that we would be checking in late around 5 to 6 p.m, and what my name was, was told no problem. Arrived at 5:30 pm and was told I had no reservations and never heard of me, after 45 minutes of going over my reservation info, calling people, I was told that Orbitz always screwed up and that they had not paid the hotel and had been faxed a reject on April 18th which was before I made reservations. Due to a cancellation they gave me a room but I had to pay again.



        Lets talk the room now, one nite stand, microware on top of small fridge, clean except for the large dead roach, only had one wash cloth and one towel. Had to go to front desk to request additional. HBO guid for previous month, had to call front desk for channel - was told 21 that channel did not work at all, called back and was told that the guy who came on at ll had the reset key for HBO. Went to sleep and was awake around 2 by smoke alarm which continued to go off repeatedly. I called the front desk and the guy said that they were having a problem with the alarm going off and since it was a holiday there would be no one to fix. I said I would not be able to sleep, he suggested I climb in the chair and disconnect myself, I refused and asked him to do. He did and we slept to the next morning until awakened by maids and when I said we were sleeping she said well put the deal on your door and I said I would be happy to if I had one. I was not expecting a resort type hotel, however, these people are nuts running this place.



        My suggestion if you are planning to do something in McGregor, stay in Waco, its only 10 minutes away and not the stress. I now have fight with credit card, hotel and rbitz who tell me they did pay the hotel so I will not be charged twice.



        STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE OR BE SURE AND TAKE A VALIUM BEFORE DEALING WITH ANY OF THE EMPLOYEES.
