Golden Bowl

There were two vietnamese restaurant in MANCHESTER. One was very cheap with low quality, another one was expensive with high quality. This restaurant looks cheap but you will find out that their service and quality of foods are really cheap. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Went there today for lunch.

Had the chicken pad thai. Delish !!! Plenty of onion, egg and shredded carrot; and the sauce was just right, not overdone with minced nuts within. The rice noodle was terrific and not super-starchy and was moist.



It came with a small vegetable spring roll. Tasy.



Heads up: They carry a $10.00 minimum for all credit and debit cards. And since I never carry cash, I had to get something else with the lunch special to get me to the $10.00



So I decided to get an appetizer or two to bring home.



I got the chicken teriyaki. They are delicious also. They are skewered and broiled. They didn't taste anything like teriyaki; but rather a slight lemon-grass flavor; very mild and different. Very moist and cooked perfectly.



I have to say, I was very surprised how good it was. Everything is cook to order; so I had to wait about 20 minutes for my takeout; but it was WELL worth the extra few minutes.



The place was very busy (Friday at noon).... and as I looked around the dining area (very casual but clean), the majority seemed to have soup. Large bowls of noodle soup. Looks good; next time I will have to dine in. :)



Definetly try it. If you're looking for more authentic Chinese Vietnamese food, you won't be disappointed.
