Dental Examination
Periodontal exams to check the health of your gums, including the depth of any spaces between your gums and teeth, to determine if periodontal treatment is necessary.

Oral Cancer Screening
During your dental appointment, Dr. Elizabeth Spindel or Dr. Victoria Spindel Rubin will perform an extensive examination, which may include an oral cancer screening, the use of digital imaging, and diagnostic technology. Based on the results of your exam, we will discuss with you any conditions that require treatment. Â We will try to restore your mouth, keeping in mind your esthetic goals and functional needs.

Teeth Cleaning
Like adults, children need routine cleanings and exams once their teeth have fully developed. Since children are less effective at staying consistent with their hygiene, cleanings are often more important for preventing cavities and other problems with their dental health and development.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride, found in many toothpaste brands, help strengthen childrenâ€™s tooth enamel. If the enamel is weak, fluoride treatments can strengthen the enamel and increase the chance of preventing cavities.
Dental Sealants
Dental sealants are thin layers of resin that are painted onto the chewing surfaces of molars, and can protect your child from the risks of cavity development. The procedure is usually very easy for children to tolerate.

Veneers
Veneers are a great way to have an instant makeover. Porcelain veneers can be used to recontour teeth, change their shape or color, and help give our patients the smile they desire. We often offer patients the option of whitening their teeth before we begin the process. Veneers may be all you need to straighten your misaligned teeth, close the spaces between them, or cover discolorations like tetracycline.
Crowns
If a tooth is broken down or compromised, a crown may be an appropriate treatment option. Our office uses the most advanced materials and labs in the United States to fabricate crowns. We work with Zirconia, E-Max, Procelain, Ceramic, Gold, and PFM as materials for crowns. Crowns are great treatment options to help reduce future fractures of weak teeth, and can protect teeth that have very large restorations. We treat teeth conservatively and offer inlays and onlays as treatment options. This can be a good option if part of the tooth is healthy and strong enough to save.
Bridges
Dental Bonding
Dental bonding can be used to recontour teeth, change their shape or color, and help give our patients the smile they desire. We use tooth colored composite material to sculpt teeth to their desired or original shape. We often offer patients the option of whitening their teeth before we begin the bonding. Â Bonding is a great, conservative way to fix that chipped tooth you have had all your life. If your teeth have spaces between them, bonding may be used to close those spaces.
Restorative Dentistry
Dr. Elizabeth Spindel and Dr. Victoria Spindel Rubin perform many types of restorative procedures. They work closely with their patients to explain the procedures and discuss treatment optionsÂ so you can make a more informed decision.

Root Canal Treatment
Magna cum laude and with honors in biology. A lover of both science and the arts, Dr. Spindel recognized dentistry as a way to combine the two, and went on to complete her doctorate degree in dental medicine at Boston Universityâ€™s School of Dental Medicine, graduating with awards in pediatrics and endodontics.

Deep Cleaning
If oral bacteria work their way underneath your gums, they can form plaque and tartar on the roots of your teeth. Before long, your gums will become infected as gum inflammation, gingivitis, and periodontitisÂ develop. A deep cleaning, also known as a periodontal cleaning or scaling and root planing, consists of gently debriding your roots of harmful bacteria, then smoothing the root surfaces to promote tissue healing. Using a high-tech ultrasonic scaler, we can perform dental and periodontal cleanings quicker and more comfortably than before.

Dentures
If multiple teeth are missing, have periodontal disease, or are too broken down to restore, partial or complete dentures are a good option. Metal or acrylic resin (Valplast) partial dentures help to replace selective missing teeth in the mouth. These partial dentures use your existing teeth as anchors to hold the partial in place. In the case of a single missing tooth, a flipper or essex retainer may be used. If full mouth dentures are required, we work with a lab to recreate your smile. Implants can be used as an anchor to help stabilize the denture in your mouth. This can help replicate a more natural, secure feeling while talking and chewing.

Dental Implants
We offer dental bridges in situations where there are strong, healthy teeth on either side of a missing tooth. This bridge helps to restore chewing and function in the mouth. However, with todayâ€™s technology, most missing teeth are replaced with implants.

Orthodontics
Dr. Elizabeth Spindel and Dr. Victoria Spindel Rubin use the soft tissue laser to perform frenectomies. Frenectomies may be needed to aid in orthodontics and to help with speech issues. The procedure is usually tolerated very well.
Invisalign Orthodontics

Whitening, or bleaching, is very safe and easy to do at home and is our most recommended option. Custom trays are fabricated for you to wear which hold the bleaching gel close to your teeth and help brighten their color. Our patients love to whiten their teeth before their weddings or milestone events, or even treat themselves to teeth whitening as a reward for quitting smoking!
