"Carpentry has been in my family for three generations. As a third generation carpenter, I have developed the skills and experience necessary to be successful in both commercial and residential building. I hold associate degrees from Cuesta College in Construction Technology and Metallurgy. After working in the construction industry for 15 years with my father doing mostly commercial work, I founded our construction business 8 years ago. I continue to enjoy working in home construction and repair. I take pride in my work from the first calculations to the last sweep of the day."JLS Construction & Home Repair, Inc is licensed and bonded in the state of California as a general contractor, Lic # 805415.
Aside from the granite countertops, which we subcontracted from our associates in Santa Maria, we completed the entire project (Demo, drywall, electrical, plumbing, cabinet install, skylights, framing, flooring, painting, etc.).
Bathroom Remodeling
Flooring
This commercial space in Atascadero used to be a retail surf shop. We transformed it into a modern burger joint. This was challenging because the floors and walls were out of level. We completed the entire project, including dining area, kitchen, bathrooms, patio, awning, outdoor lighting, flooring, electrical, plumbing, etc. in a timely matter. We coordinated with the owner every step of the way, and met with the city once per week. The job was completed on time and under budget.
Door Installation/Replacement
This home located on the Nipomo Mesa had a magnificent view of the entire mesa. We built a 1300 sq foot deck made of iPe wood around the rear, side, and front of the home in 2005. The homeowner recently had us come back to Stucco over existing T-111 siding, on the entire upper half of their home. We also added mouldings around the doors and windows.
This chain-link fence and retaining wall project in Los Osos allowed the homeowner to utilize their small front yard for their grandchildren and small dogs. They now have a split level, fenced in area with two entry gates. They plan to plant a garden in the upper level, so we provided irrigation lines for the future.
This Pismo Beach bathroom got a facelift. The homeowner wanted a new shower, with tile, new flooring, fixtures and sink. We completed the entire scope of the project, including electrical, plumbing, painting, tile, fixturing, window installation, etc. personally, without any subcontractors. This saved the homeowner money and gave her peace of mind knowing one company was doing her entire project.
