Overall

PRICE: $$$

If you're used to paying $10 for a wash, don't come here. You'll pay around $20 (+tip) for a slightly better job than the $10 wash/vacuum at a regular gas station.

QUALITY:

Do not expect a nice detailed job unless you pay for the full package. Even if you get the $20 (or less) wash, I can guarantee you will have crumbs, spots and dust.

SERVICE:

The actual detailers out drying and polishing your car are OK, some nice/some whatever. The inside cashier does his job with not much of a smile or nod. But hey, it's a small local car wash place, not a high-end resort car care specialist.

TIME:

Be prepared to wait anywhere between 20-60 minutes.

STORY: (TLDR) Long story short, they misplaced my Lexus car mats and ignored me until three months later. (Mats are easily and cheaply replaced and not worth it - Main reason why I'm leaving such a bad review is based upon bad customer service / bad business / bad management)

When I first started patronizing this location with business, I overlooked the bad reviews due to a colleagues recommendation. I would take my vehicle here every two-three weeks out of habit since I've moved to Palos Verdes two years ago. Got a loyalty punch card and would enjoy sitting for a 30 minute break while my car was being pampered. I didn't mind paying the price because it's a little better than a $10 wash, they did an OK job and I can afford it. I even got the $70 carpet cleaning once before (again, not worth it).

As I normally do, I went to have my car washed at the location and drove off to meetings. Within the week, I was cleaning out my car to prepare for an out of town trip; noticed that they were gone and I immediately knew it was the car wash. I called, said they would get back to me same day (I needed to be out of town the next day). They didn't call so I called the following day. They said they couldn't find them and that I would need to speak with management. Left contact information with the cashier once every week to remind his manager to contact me. At the second week I was just frustrated with being ignored as a customer with an issue. After four weeks of no acknowledgement by management, cashier proposed that I come take another persons "lost" Lexus car mats and/or bypass calling the location and just start showing up on random days to see if management would be there. (Really? I have to stalk management to get a response?) It actually took filing a complaint with BBB and BBB took over attempting to contact the location for the past three months for someone anonymous to give me a BS response.

It is not a matter of replacing missing/stolen items (which shouldn't happen in the first place - but hey, I understand things happen), it is a matter of management conducting bad business in handling matters with clientele. It is an all around sketchy place with poor customer service from bottom to top. I'm also glad my issue was just mats and bad management - other reviewers had their vehicle damaged.
