West Stanly Animal Clinic

I have a sick cat. So I tried to get an appointment with West Stanly Animal Clinic in Locust because I wanted to go in with my pet and most clinics are doing curb side. This would be their first visit to a vet since I adopted them. WEST STANLY ANIMAL CLINIC TURNED US AWAY DUE TO COVID-19. What does Covid-19 have to do with a cat going to the vet?! Plus I was waiting for a call back and they didn't call me with an answer as to whether they would see my pets, I had to call them back and ask again. The owner/doctor himself turned me down. Their website says walk-ins welcome. The person who answered the phone says that is for established patients only. But the website doesn't say that. She says they haven't had time to update the website because of Covid-19. WHAT??? I am just totally disappointed with this clinic !!!

Called like it said on the website for Saturday hours. Be here between 8-930 no later because we are a walk in clinic. Get there and we don't take new patients on Saturdays besides we don't have paperwork from the emergency vet about the problem. I have copies. Receptionist walks off. Comes back sorry we can't see you who referred you. I said my friend not the emergency vet. I point out that it needs to be stated on the website and all staff need to be telling people who call about this important detail. She didn't offer to tell me when they do see new patients. She got an attitude and I proceeded to tell her I would not come back or recommend this place. She asked for my name I said why she said so she could put me in the computer so they would not take me as a patient. I said don't worry I won't be back and you don't need my name. Very unprofessional!

This vet clinic killed my dog due to not practicing good habits and checks on the animals they work on. Dont take your pets there ever !!
