Simple Pleasures Catering

A friendly place to eat lunch. A family run business that makes you feel like a regular. The food is sandwiches and salad, with a daily potato or macaroni salad on the side (potato is my favorite). They have fabulous soup of the day and desserts. For Thanksgiving I ordered a caramel apple pie that was delicious!

My family and friends have been eating at Simple Pleasures for over 20 years. The homemade potato salad is to die for and the salads are always farm fresh. The BBQ rib-eye steak sandwich has a special seasoning I can't match anywhere. It is an older building but comfortable and welcoming. Local artists display their art and it is family owned and run...it's like home away from home.

Simple Pleasures is a lovely place to eat! But, there are a few things they need to wok on. One being the kitchen. Unfourtunatly, I was able to sneek a peek at the kitchen. I say unfourtunaty because after doing so I had lost my appetite. They have one stove that is absolutely cooked with grease and grime. Second they have baked goods on the menu that are nearly all store bought, and if they aren't they sure do not know how to bake. The decore of the resturant is dated, but it makes the place feel like home in a way to some. Overall Simple pleass will only be drink stop to me, and I will skip on the food, but give it three stars for the effort of a nice resturant.
