Hal Owen & Associates, Inc. is a soil science and environmental consulting firm providing services throughout North Carolina. We evaluate soils for onsite septic systems (perk tests), stormwater infiltration, flood hazard areas, and petroleum contamination. We also identify wetlands, streams and riparian buffers; and assist clients with Clean Water Act 404/401 wetland permitting and violation resolution. In addition, we prepare environmental reports (Environmental Site Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments) that document the integrity of a site and/or the natural resources that may be present. Whether the project is residential or commercial, less than an acre or a multi-phase subdivision, we can help. Hal Owen is a NC Licensed Soil Scientist.
