In 1997, after a brutal winter and a blizzard with 38 inches of snow falling in two days and drifting to 5 feet, Barbara and Brian decided to move south. After completing his extensive HVAC training and certification courses Brian Cameron Mills (known as Cameron) started looking for a job with an HVAC company. He sent resumes to every company in the phone book, and filled out a dozen applications before Brian Rice of Rice Heating and Air gave him his chance. Charleston and Mt. Pleasant AC repair from Answer Heating and Air Cameron showed up with a happy attitude and a yearning to satisfy. Seeing his great potential, Brian Rice took Cameron under his wing, teaching him everything from wrapping duct to replacing units. Often requested by name from his many satisfied customers, Cameron soon became a customer favorite. His hard work ethic and integrity allowed him to excel to General Manager in a short time. From learning the ropes at wrapping duct to General manager, Cameron?s four years with Rice Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. was a great stepping stone. In 2001, Brian Rice decided to help Cameron start his own company.On the 4th of July 2001 Answer was born, Independence day. Armed with Brians entire Mt. Pleasant customer list and a van stocked with parts, Answer AC & Heat, Inc was born. Now, 6 employees and 9 years later, Camerons honest service and quality repair has made Answer AC & Heat, Inc. the choice for Charleston Area AC and Heater repair. Our reputation for reliable "get it right the first time" service has earned many exclusive agreements with Lowcountry businesses such as Wild Dunes, Maintain Inc, Property Management Services, and many others.         Answer's quality of service was beyond excellent. They were prompt in their arrival, clearly explained the problem with my unit and gave a reasonable price. The standout here is the level of customer service. They have a very satisfied customer in me and I plan to use them in the future. A job well done.

        When we came to our summer home in Mt. Pleasant to spend 10 days we found the air conditioning wouldn't work. It was a humid 96 degrees out and we had 6 guests coming the next day. I called around and every business said they couldn't get there for 2 -3 days !!! When I called Answer Air Conditioning and Heating they sent a repair man over that afternoon. My husband signed us up for Brian's Preferred

        Customer Agreement. Answer Air comes twice a year to clean and check the unit. If a part is getting worn and will need replacement they let us know. Now we can come down and enjoy our summer home knowing we can start enjoying our vacation immediately !! Thanks Answer.

        like old times

        they showed up and did just what they said they would and for the price they quoted. It felt like I was in a time warp to a time when people were out to get customers not only to make a dollar. Answer Air Conditioning and Heat is my AC guy now.
