Referral Letter- Jack Harney

Friends,



As a long time home owner and a short time landlord (my brother Paul and I have three rental properties in the Sandy Springs area), I am often asked if I have the name of a good handyman who helps with maintenance issues at our home or rental properties. The person that I use for all my maintenance issues is Mike Martin (770) 876-8657.



Mike is a Master Cabinet Maker by trade but is an expert in any construction that involves wood. He is capable in small electrical and plumbing jobs but has a relationship with a full time electrician and plumber for larger jobs.



In the past couple of years, Mike has completed the following projects for me (and my family):



1. Master Bath Renovation: Removed original spa tub and support frame - installed new support framework for new spa tub and worked with a local plumber to complete installation of new spa tub.



2. Living Room Renovation: When Debbie's Dad moved in with us, we asked Mike to change our Living Room into a first floor bedroom. Mike built a wall between our Living Room and Dining Room and added French Doors at the hall entrance, He did such a good job matching all the floor and crown molding in the Dining Room, it is difficult to tell that these rooms were ever separate.



3. Replaced Window Sills: We had water damage on a window sill and Mike was able to remove and replace the old sill without any damage to our stucco.



4. Replaced faulty electrical outlets and repaired damaged sheet rock in the rental house



5. Assisted the installation of fencing in two rental property back yards



6. Major Kitchen Renovation (my sister & brother-in-laws home): Renovation included installation of new cabinets, appliances, granite counter tops and expansion of the pantry. Kitchen renovation was completed on time and under budget.



I give Mike my highest recommendation and would be happy to show you the work that he has done for us the next time you are at the house.
