Spaying and Neutering

Laboratory Services
We offer three levels of in-house blood testing before surgery, which we will go over with you when you bring your pet in. Our doctors prefer the more comprehensive screen, because it gives them the most information to ensure the safety of your pet. For geriatric or ill pets, additional blood tests, electrocardiograms, or x-rays may be required before surgery, as well.

Boarding: We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. If your pet is on any medication, we will make sure he or she receives their treatment. All medicated and non-medicated boarders' stool production, urination, and appetite are recorded on their own record sheet to ensure each pet's comfort and wellness during their stay.
Grooming
Veterinary assistants' responsibilities include and are not limited to animal handling and restraint, bathing and grooming, cleaning, care and feeding of patients and boarders, laundry, kennel work, waste disposal, patient monitoring and care, assisting with X-rays, admitting animals for hospital care or boarding, retrieving animals to go home, client communication, and assisting the technicians and doctors with any treatments, medications, or any other duties needed.

Chairman of the Education Committee for several years. He attended the Academy of Veterinary Imaging in Dallas, Texas and is a graduate of the Small Animal Veterinarian Ultrasound Imaging Program. Currently, he is an instructor in veterinary ultrasound at the Academy of Veterinary Ultrasound. Herb is an outdoor enthusiast and has a passion for hiking, skiing, kayaking and all that nature has to offer.
