El Jardin

awesome food and great atmosphere.

El Jardin is a great restaurant. They give you a good amount of food, but their prices are reasonable, so you get a lot for your money. Every time I have gone I have had enough food for leftovers! Their chips are hot and fresh and they give you two kinds of salsa, in case you want to go mild or a little spicier (the chunkier salsa is their spicier one, just as a heads up). The wait staff is friendly and attentive but they don't hover or bother you. If you are interested in trying Mexican food but don't like spicy food, I would recommend trying something without a sauce (which is what makes the food spicy). We usually get the tostadas, which fill the plate and are delicious! We got the chilaquiles another time (it is a breakfast food, but you can order it any time) and that was pretty spicy, so I wouldn't recommend it for beginners (unless you like quite a kick!!) We usually go about twice a month. Overall this is reasonably priced, great-tasting Mexican food in a casual atmosphere that you will enjoy!
