While I can appreciate Mrs.Coes Constructive Critism, it simply was a very rare but very real nightmare.We had no time to prepare for such sruntinizing of a customer who standing over my shoulder, with such elaborate knowledge of Doors that I wonder why she hadn't installed it herself. Her step by step instructions from a you tube video seemed to trump my 20yrs of experience. Reference to my thumbtack reviews speak for themselves and this review does not have a negative effect on my expertise or hinder my business because there are times of chaos in life that causes discombobulated errors in business or public relations with sometimes not so gracious behavior, but she is an over achiever looking for perfection in performance while her own was questionable to say the least

Use these people at your own peril. In trying to schedule the installation of a front door, Thomas told me that he was unable to install the door today (Saturday, September 19, 2015) and requested that we do it yesterday at 1:30 p.m. I left my work and came home for the installation, which he said would take 2 1/2 hours. After being at my house for about 30 minutes and not having performed any work,Thomas said that he needed to go to Home Depot to get a tool (he had apparently pawned the tool he had and said that he was going to purchase the tool from Home Depot and return it after he finished the job). He left and didn't return until more than three hours later. When I complained that he had cause me to miss work for no reason, he threatened to walk off the job. I told him to go ahead and go. Thomas' assistant pleaded with me to let them do the job, and he and her promised that the install would be easy and would only take an hour and 15 minutes. This was at 5:30 p.m. Around 1:30 a.m. (I kid you not), when the door wouldn't close or lock (because the hinges were not flush with the door and the door had not been accurately measured by Thomas, he said, he needed to come back and finish the door Saturday morning (today), notwithstanding that he previously said he was unavailable today when we were trying to schedule a time. When I complained that I needed my door to actually close and lock before he left, he again threatened to walk off the job. His assistant had to beg him to secure the door and attach the alarm sensor. in attaching the alarm sensor, he drilled a ragged whole that is too large for the alarm sensor and wedged the door closed so tightly that it will likely be necessary to ram it to get it open. When I attempted to contact Thomas and his assistant this morning, neither of them answered my text or my calls. So, I am now in the position of having to find someone to fix the mess caused by Thomas.
