Ma & Paws Pet Supplies

I am following my longtime favorite groomer, Rachel, who is a new groomer at Maw and Paws. She is the only groomer I will allow to handle my dog because she does excellent work, she loves the animals she works on, and she is is very kind to them. If you are looking for a good groomer, I recommend her very highly. I look forward to being a customer at Maw and Paws for a long time to come!

I visited Maw and Paws and was so impressed. I have spent a fortune trying to get the right food, this young man took lots of time, answered questions, made suggestions, and the food is guaranteed. They stand behind their recommendations and their products. I can't say enough good.... I drive 60 miles round trip to get this service. This type of excellent customer service is almost never found. I won't spend my money any place else.

It is the mom and her two sweet kids that make's this place so very great. Cristy the old mother hen and her two little chics Todd & Kim are good with people very friendly. My household wont go any where else.

I have been taking my Yorkie to Ma & Paws for nearly 3 years. Up until 2012, they had a wonderful groomer that did an excellent job grooming, and I also felt she loved my dog. I was typically charged $30-35. It was never consistent so I cannot say exactly. I usually picked up some treats and my bill was never over $40.

Today, was the worst experience I have EVER had with grooming. They have new groomers. Even though we have been loyal patrons for almost 3 years, I was treated as if it was the first time I'd ever been there (by the owner) and asked to fill out paperwork. ??? Not a big deal but I did not have time. I had to get to the class that I teach. I signed the back, wrote down my number and asked them to call when finished. I do not live in Hendersonville so I waited for the call. When I had not heard from them, I finally called to check. I was told my dog was ready. I'm not sure why no one called me. ??? I was charged nearly $46 for a 3lb Yorkie's haircut, which was all butchered up. One side of his face and ear is a good inch longer than the other side with chunks jabbed out of it. I wish I could post a photo here. It's not like he had tangles or mats. He was brushed well before taking him in. And the former groomer always told me how easy it was to cut his hair. I am so upset. I will never step foot back into that store! Unbelievable!

I recently fostered four kitten who had fleas. The staff at Ma & Paws knew exactly what I needed to get rid of them. I am so thankful to have knowledgable people who know how to help animals and sell holistic pet products.

My wife and i love this store we wont go anywhere else. a friend of the family told us about them Trey Odonahoe. He told about how helpful the staff was and how super ultra clean the store is. Todd and Kristie rock, always have time to answer our stupid questions. They really make you fill welcome when you come in to their store. Ma & Paws is the only place I go.

This past saturday night went to the annual Ma&Paws Pet Supplies Store Christmas Party at Woody's Steak House, and had a outstanding time. And for the store it is almost a pleasure to spend money with these people, and at our house the pets come first. So we have to have nothing but the best.

Lots of personal assistance and great prices. When they are out or dont carry the product you want or need they will personally order it for you. The owner is very nice and goes out of her way to assist us n e time we visit. I have reptiles and though she supplies more domesticated pet supplies she has always been willing to order things I need such as frozen mice or pet carriers or lighting and what not even terrarium backgrounds. Check them out!

These guys really know their stuff. You can bring your dog in with you and they'll actually put the collars, harnesses, etc. on him to check for proper sizing. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to your pet's nutritional needs. I'm switching from a grocery store brand dog food to a healthy variety and was instructed in great detail on how to transition from one food to another without my dog getting sick. I was assured that if he just completely hated his new food to just bring it back in and we'd try something else. You can't get that kind of service at Kroger! Also, and almost more important than knowledge....they just loved on my dog the whole time and gave him a special (healthy) treat. They were nice to me too, by the way!
