Oreck Vacuums

I took my Oreck for maintenance. Occasionally, you need to get the belt changed and the machine cleaned. I walked in the store and no one came to the desk but someone was in the back, I could hear them. I called out three times hello, and I concluded that the person must be hard of hearing. He finally comes to a window from the back and just looks at me and claims he couldn't see me. He finally came out and said oh I didn't hear you or see you there. I thought to myself this guy is playing a game and I don't get it. I told him that I needed the machine maintenance and he plugged it in. Then he took it in the back and called me to come in the back he said the machine was "Broken", he had a wooden pointer in his hand and said see this "hole" and showed me a puncture hole in the machine! He went on to say that it would cost me about $139.00 to repair and he went on to point out ITEMS THAT NEEDED REPLACEMENT! THEY DID NOT NEED REPLACEMENT BECAUSE I HAD PERSONALLY REPLACED THIS ITEM MYSELF LESS THAN A YEAR AGO!!!



He come out from the back after I told him no I wasn't going to do that and he pulled out a $400 machine and I told him NO WAY I have a small place and my machine is used for two small area rugs and I that this was over kill! HE RUDELY SAID "LET ME FINISH" and he continues to discuss the over priced machine.



I took my machine elsewhere and that told me the ONLY WAY THAT THE PUNCTURE could have been done was if someone PUNCTURED the machine!



I do not recommend this business!
